I'm assuming Abigail fancies Mali but I'm wondering if he gave her the job to genuinely help her or because the feeling is reciprocated. I recall a slight improvement in her before the break but the way she was sniping at Remi and acting towards Kirby when Kirby brought her the uniform and asked her to go back to work, I'm not sure she's up to doing the job and I still think there's still an element of being an unlikeable waster. I do admit though Xander and Mackenzie's faces during the entire interaction at Salt and Kirby being literally gobsmacked when Abigail revealed her issue with Kirby was that Kirby ruined her birthday were amusing. Bree was out of line to Remi. He's the one person who's not against her at the moment. Again I can't disagree with Levi. He was absolutely right. Bree definitely needs help. And it's worrying how she can't see what's she's done wrong. The scene with Dana wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Although in a funny sort of way I do admire Bree for even having the front to go up to Dana and ask her, basically her arch enemy, because I don't think I would. It shows how important being a doctor is to her. One thing I will say about Dana and the conversation with Xander, I'm surprised he and her were acting like she's a victim being pressurised. From Dana's perspective, it's really quite incredible actually given that Dana has done this herself to Rose, Banjo, Irene and she even got Bree to put her job on the line so she could access Bronte's medical records.

There is a part of me that thinks Eden was trying to punish Cash however I'm now wondering if she was trying to get Michelle away from Cash because she wants Cash all to herself. She didn't wait very long before subtly asking if there was a way for them to get back together. I was sorry to see Michelle go because I actually quite liked her. Hopefully Cash will able to get over her departure without too many problems, although Bree emphasised what I was thinking in that, what transpired with Cash is exactly why the communications were kept anonymous. The scene with Bree staring at Levi at Salt...wow, if looks could kill. I actually don't blame Levi for reporting her and think he did the right thing but as someone who really likes Bree (I guess I'm the only one here) it was frustrating to see other characters such as Marilyn looking down her nose at her and Mackenzie throw Bree out of the restaurant even though you can't really argue that they are wrong and judging by the preview, it looks like it's going to get worse. I'm glad Justin gave Leah a taste of her own medicine.

I did enjoy the gossip session at the beginning with John, Harper and Eden (I still can't believe Eden and Harper did so well in the popularity contest - I can't stand Dana but at least with her I can understand why people like so much, but those two). I found quite a few of the characters frustrating from yesterday. I accept he was looking out for Perri but I found Tane annoying. Leah was also annoying. I can kind of understand the uncertainty, thinking the worst given what Claudia's husband said and finding out about the lifts Justin was giving Claudia behind her back, but she really should have given Justin a chance to explain before deciding to move out. So given they haven't been married for very long, I do think his reaction was very understandable. In spite of everything I do still feel bad for Claudia. I was very much of the opinion that she had very little to gain by not going down the legal route initially. And even more so now but again she had nothing to get out of telling Leah the truth, however she did it because she's not a bad person and had a brief period of weakness. Just like she's not a bad person for not going through the courts which caused her to end up in this situation. Cash was a bit annoying pressurising Michelle but I do have a certain level of sympathy for him, given he's still struggling with losing Felicity. Eden I thought was pretty bad. I did actually agree with her about Michelle and Michelle does feels grateful to Cash so feels a sense of duty to spend time with him, but I do think she also did it purposely to punish him for breaking up with her. I also think because she was unhappy that Cash excluded her from spending time with Michelle initially and because she doesn't want Cash to have much time with Michelle which is a part of the punishment.

I hadn't been to the Forum in around a month so I'd forgotten about the results. I was shocked but not surprised Rory even featured at all, especially given how short his stint was and that he murdered a police officer. I was surprised at Abigail. Maybe it's because I only watch the episodes at UK pace but I've found very little likeable about her. Harper finishing so highly was also an eyebrow raising moment. Don't get me wrong, I like her, and have got nothing against her as a person but I don't find her to be a particularly interesting character. Eden was another shock (Really?). Sadly I'm actually not surprised Dana finished as well as she did. I'm definitely seeing a different person to 99.999% (add more 9s where appropriate) of people. I find her to be manipulative, self-centered and as I always like to flog the dead horse, despite being a nurse I feel she lacks empathy. What I will say though is that one thing I've noticed with characters in soaps, if their personality shows giddy, bubbly traits, this will often endear people to them. Very similar to Holly Hoyland from Neighbours. I was fully expecting a strong finish from Felicity. Even if she hadn't died, I would have still expected her in the top five. I'm actually a little surprised she didn't finish higher. I was expecting Stevie to have a little more votes. Pleasantly surprised Mackenzie finished so high and I can't disagree with the overall winner. Can't say I'm disappointed about Sally finishing so low relatively speaking, considering how she used to dominate. I would actually like to thank Dan F and Chris J for opening the poll to non forum members knowing full well it would mean more effort on their part with the data. I think it's a good thing, far more representative and it shows there are a lot of people who lurk the forum who are not confident enough or simply have no desire to post. So, I'm glad they've also been included. I hope this trend continues. Last but not least, a shoutout to Red Ranger, with regards to the character summaries. Never fails to deliver with the stellar grammar, writing and of course the wittiness.

Whilst I don't like Marilyn, I do think she was right to get annoyed with Bree and complain to Levi about it when Alf was having another heart attack. Bree's definitely not fit to be treating patients at the moment. I will even go as far as saying she needs to talk to someone. It will be interesting to see if she faces any disciplinary action especially given Dana allowed Tane to see Hope and he kidnapped her and Dana was allowed to continue her duties. Like I said in my last post, I'm disappointed they've gone down this route with Claudia as she seemed like a decent person. The worst thing about it that Leah is basically going to be made out to be right and she's going to deliver a self-righteous serve to Justin for not telling her about Claudia in the first place. Harper must have been loving Tane's hand on the baby bump, feeling it kick and the way she was looking at him when he asked her to have Dinner with him, she really has it bad. When Tane missed Peri's court appearance, I did think he should have been given the benefit of the doubt but I do accept he's definitely dropped the ball as of late. Because he was preoccupied with Harper he didn't pick up on the fact something was drastically wrong with Perri, whereas before he might have pressed him and that left Perri to deal with Carl on his own. Given that Carl was completely overpowering him, I'm interested to know the circumstances leading to his death.

I must admit, I'd forgotten about what happened with John but what I will say is that it is similar to Harper. And I guess that reenforces the point about throwing people under the bus, because the vast majority of people she's interacted with inside/outside work, she's not like that with. And it's not only the fact I see her as uncaring. She veers between being robotic in some instances but when she demands something she has that intense look. The robotic nature, absence of emotion and intense look correlate with the lack of empathy I keep bringing up. This was apparent when she used Banjo i.e. pretending to be romantically interested in him to help John, the way she pressured Rose re charging Harper etc. Even some of the worst people will still care about a very small number of people they deem close to them, but they're generally uncaring in nature due to their attitude to most people in general. Not saying Dana is the worst, but I don't think caring towards Harper and John is indicative she's a caring person as they really are the exception rather than the norm. I know there's an argument this has happened because Justin wasn't honest with Leah but it still doesn't change the fact Marilyn was a huge pain in the backside. Even if you assume they were both planning surprises, she had no business getting involved. I guess given Claudia was sitting in the front when Justin was driving her, that might have been the early indication something was up. I'm also frustrated they've taken her down this route because Leah has been more annoying than Marilyn was and quite judgmental from the start. Her reaction to Theo's revelation demonstrates precisely why Justin didn't tell her about Claudia to begin with. Well Bree's definitely not fit to be at work at the moment. I did find her scenes with Alf quite hard to watch and she came across like a first day med student.

Dana is uncaring. Apart from how she was with Harper when Harper had to go hospital, I can't think of a single instance when she's actually been caring or sympathetic particularly at NDH. A lot of people can put on an act at work but she can't even pretend to be empathetic towards her patients because it's not in her nature. Mackenzie has been getting on my nerves the last couple of episodes re the whole wanting to completely own Salt. I don't like the way she was pressuring Cash and I don't like the way she was being dismissive of Xander either. As mentioned, she struggled with the business when it was just her and if not for Felicity it would have gone under. Really enjoyed the scenes with Cash and Michelle. I also thought Cash was harsh with Eden. He seemed pretty cold towards her again.

Dana is good at doing all the practical stuff as a nurse but not sympathetic or caring to her patients at all. Abigail was seriously giving Dana a run for her money in terms of being unlikeable, although at least she apologised to Cash, but it remains to be seen whether her attitude will improve. I did actually really like the way Levi was with Cash. He was compassionate, understanding, still not blaming him for how he's treated Eden and the dialogue and the handshake was really good when Cash advised him to get Abigail to talk to the police. I feel sorry for Claudia. The fact that she just wanted to hang out with Justin just shows how bad things must be with her husband. I've got nothing against Justin. I think he's trying to make the best of a bad situation and do think he did the right thing imposing boundaries on the arrangement they have but I can't help but feel sympathetic towards Claudia. A few weeks ago I would have been cheering Mali on to dedicate himself to his artwork if it meant him leaving the show but he's not been too bad as of late. Doesn't matter now that he's turned down the opportunity. I was literally gobsmacked when Cash asked Rose to get him the name and contact details of Felicity's donor recipient he had been writing to (I know he has from but I was still shocked). If he really valued her as a friend he never should have put her in that position. I don't think what he said to Tane was wrong though as already mentioned Tane is moving on. He even said to Cash he'd already said goodbye to Felicity when Cash asked if he was curious about the donor recipient. I think he was in love with Felicity at one point but I'm not convinced he was in love with her just before she had the aneurysm. Despite Marilyn preparing a romantic picnic hamper and Dana not arriving it time to alert them, it looks as though the picnic itself turned out in Harper's favour. I have to admit, I did find Dana's face amusing at a smitten Harper looking on at Tane as he was headed back to the Surf Club. But true to form she had to blame Xander, for taking the time during his break to help out and not checking the hamper beforehand despite the fact she didn't do it herself.

I'm definitely more on Mackenzie's side than I am on Abigail's. I would be actually pretty livid is someone invited a drug addict to stay at my place without permission and the way Abigail was talking to Mackenzie, I thought she did well to reconcile with her afterwards as I feel you shouldn't be rude to someone in their own home. However, looking at it from Abigail's point of view, she's feels Mackenzie can't stand her and so there's a natural tendency from her to be angry and dislike her back. I've not found Abigail very likeable at all but when she was interacting with Mali, I saw a slightly different side to her. I actually enjoyed their scenes although I'm not sure she's a character I'm necessarily going to warm to at the moment. I didn't mind the stuff with Justin and Claudia. Like other people, I'm also glad we've seen a different side to her, helping people with her job and having issues with her husband. I'm actually of the belief she's at a disadvantage by not going down the legal route with Justin given how she's struggling to do her job and as a result is affecting her home life. Logically she should be taking him to court. Although I'm not sure how it would help the people she obviously cares about that she visits on a day to day basis. Harper was smiling throughout Thursday's episode and even after the scare at the hospital was very happy afterwards. She must be loving all the time she's spending with Tane, especially now that he's started holding her hand. I wasn't keen on her lying about being in hospital as she already kept the pregnancy from him and if this is going to work she needs to be honest. I did think it would be an issue Tane committing to Perri but also committing to Harper re the baby. Hopefully having to juggle both won't be too problematic going forwards. The way Bree has been acting I would imagine it would be quite hard to work with her. I've mentioned time and time again how I feel about Dana. The "I don't want you anywhere near my sister when you've done a double-shift" line. And the way she went crying to Remi about it when Bree called her out...pathetic. Just about everything about Dana annoys me. Going back to the way she was with Harper at hospital how caring she is. She's never like that with any of her patients and it's also annoying how she tried to imply to Remi she was concerned about Bree. Concerned my a*se (As I've mentioned multiple times she lacks empathy and compassion). She's just out of shape because she doesn't like the way Bree spoke to her.

I didn't mind the scenes with Harper and Cash. Good to focus on their friendship as it's not something we see too much of. I actually prefer to friendship with Rose and Cash but it was just a brief hello, how are you, when will you be back at work. I agree with others that the scenes with Tane and Harper were definitely better on Thursday. I did feel previously Tane should have just told Harper that he had to take Perri to court but when she found out, Harper was actually very reasonable about it, agreeing to move the date of the scan so he could be present. During Cash and Eden's engagement, I mentioned that I thought Abigail's issue with Remi was that she had a crush and it wasn't reciprocated but I'm surprised it was because Remi 'took Eden away from her'. It's interesting that she hates Kirby too. I wouldn't mind seeing scenes with them to reflect that. I didn't have an issue with Mackenzie having a go at Levi because I don't like the fact that he kept Abigail hidden from her and I especially don't mind her having a go at him now he's invited Abigail to stay at hers without checking with Mackenzie first. However, I did think she was a bit harsh with Cash. I don't think Cash should have jumped straight in with stocking the drinks in the fridge as he does need some training but if he's inherited Felicity's share, I can't disagree with him getting involved, although I do think he would have to be fully involved, which means full time and not being able to work as a police officer. The way Cash has been with Eden has once again made me feel sorry her. I would even go as far as saying the scenes have made me feel slightly uncomfortable.

Levi didn't know Abigail was taking drugs when he initially let her steal money from his credit card. Levi should have made her go to the hospital. He was lucky it was Bree who caught him taking the medical supplies and not another doctor. I do have some sympathy for Harper. She's pregnant, hormones are all over the place and you combine that with being in love with Tane so there's a natural tendency to be dependant on him. I do appreciate Tane is also in between a rock and a hard place. He made a promise to Perri and he obviously feels connected to him but he has to juggle that with saying that he was all in with Harper re the baby. It will be interesting to see if Tane's attitude towards Harper changes once she gets further into the pregnancy and if he can keep up his committent to Perri. I mentioned before but as more people have found out I am surprised nobody's really tried to reconcile Harper/Tane having a baby with how Tane was re Felicity during and just after her final moments. It obviously bothered Cash seeing Harper and Tane hug. Leah's getting annoying again with the whinging.

The scene in Wednesday's episode last week was sad with Gary talking about Cash and Felicity. You could tell by the way Marilyn, Leah and Alf were looking at him they felt very sorry for him. I thought the music in the background especially made it especially more meaningful. Also felt sorry for Mackenzie when she started crying when she saw the picture of Felicity in the storeroom and recalled when they first went into partnership at Salt. I can't imagine what is must be like working with Kirby although I did think Mali was out of line and his apology was definitely required. I'm not sure Levi's handled the situation with Abigail all that well. He's let her steal from him. He's tried to handle her all on his own and only involved Eden because he felt he had no alternative. He helped himself to medical supplies rather than taking Abigail to the hospital and I was kind of disappointed Bree just let it go when she caught him. He's also lying to Mackenzie - I was glad Eden called him out for that because as I mentioned before, I think it's problematic. Bree's definitely not herself. As someone who doesn't like Dana and doesn't think she's a particularly nice person, I didn't mind Bree being rude to her. To me it seemed that Dana confronting Bree about her behaviour was more about Bree being short with her as opposed to what happened with Claudia, although I do accept there is genuine concern. I actually don't mind Claudia at all and think her behaviour was very understandable. I wouldn't be happy if I was in her position. I can see where Theo was coming from trying to apologise but it probably wasn't the right time. I really wasn't happy with Leah having a go at Claudia even though I wasn't keen on the way Claudia was towards Theo. She should realise in certain situations you have to remain calm. Thankfully Justin was rational enough to recognise this. I do feel a bit bad for Harper having to deal with both Marilyn and John trying to conduct their normal information gathering exercises under the guise of concern re the pregnancy and Tane.

"Cash takes the coward's way out". I liked how My5 put that but..Cash is cold. Harper must be over the moon how things have turned out. Tane's all in and she can effectively monopolise him now and play the long game. I was surprised at the reactions to the news, especially given Perri was telling Harper before that he thought Tane was really into Felicity, Alf didn't question anything either and even Cash was OK with it (although admittedly I keep forgetting he's friends with Harper). There really wasn't any negativity whatsoever. I did partly agree with Cash about one thing though, given how happy he seemed, Tane does seem to be moving on from Felicity.

I mentioned with regards to Friday's episode that Harper didn't chose the right time to tell Tane. I think she was worried that if he hit Carl, he would have ended up in prison, not only because she was in love with him but she wants him to be around for the child. She basically did the psychology 101. Said to Tane he could be involved or hands off as he liked, purposely not putting any pressure on him. Also, made sure to show him a scan of their baby. Although it was never in doubt. She knew how she was with Perri and was also aware of why he and Felicity broke up in the first place. I guess I feel a tiny bit sorry for Eden. Since she's semi made up with Levi I've not found her anywhere near as objectionable. I could understand her having a go at John and found it slightly amusing how taken aback Bree was when she had a go at her too. I did find the scene where Tane wasn't happy with Dana/Xander knowing about the pregnancy before him and blurting it out and John overhearing quite amusing. John said to Bree, when she went to talk to him about Eden getting out of shape, he wasn't going to mention what happened with Dana but that won't last. I've said numerous times, despite Dana being a nurse she lacks empathy. Another example of that was her attitude towards Tane being a dad and getting drunk when he went round to see Harper. Dana was there when Felicity collapsed and she was even concerned for Harper because she thought Tane had residual feelings towards Felicity. It was the day of his ex wife's funeral and Harper dumps her being pregnant on him. I'm not his biggest fan by any stretch but it's surprising Dana can't see, even if you don't agree with it, the way Tane was acting is understandable.

It's funny the comments about the Daphne from Neighbours. I went to the BFI last year and was viewing past TV footage and watched a Sunday Sunday episode with an Interview with Elaine Smith and Gloria Hunniford and she mentioned she just finished filming her final scenes on Neighbours. It feels like Abigail is Valerie 2.0. If that's the case they might as well have just kept Valerie on. I'm expecting something to happen with Theo or Perri. Whilst he was trying to keep Abigail's confidence, Levi lying to Mackenzie is not a good sign for me at all. I know he's grieving but I think Cash has been selfish. He didn't tell Gary when he was told Felicity had stopped breathing and he excluded the Summer Bay residents from going to the funeral. I have no issue with him hosting it away from the Bay as he and Felicity didn't grow up there but some of her friends should have at least had the option to decide if they wanted to go. I guess at least he agreed to the local celebration of her life, so that's something. I have to say that the turnout was impressive and watching the regular characters to Felicity's celebration was quite emotional. Seeing Bree and Mackenzie with tears in their eyes and Alf's serious face too. I actually didn't ever think Felicity was this well liked at all before she died. Watching Xander earlier on in the week, I thought he was going to be a big problem with regards to keeping what he knew about Harper being pregnant from Tane but she told Tane anyway, arguably only because she felt she was forced to. I'm kind of on the fence. I know there is no right time, but I do think that wasn't it as it meant him missing Lyrik's song with Felicity. However, the way he was acting, he kind of only had himself to blame. I wasn't expecting him to let Carl take Perri without any form of resistance but he really has to try and remain as calm as possible as one mistake and he's going to jail. I'm not too keen on Carl. I much preferred the actor's character Sam from Out of the Blue.

Thursday Kirby really is like a dog with a bone re Mali's artwork. Not really having much sympathy for Tane although I do understand him not telling Perri about Felicity. I actually felt he didn't want to open up because it came across as weak and he wanted to portray himself as a strong role model. I wasn't sure how Harper felt about Tane but I found it interesting how when she spoke to Perri, he immediately came to the conclusion Tane was still into Felicity, and Harper seemed a little surprised after he said that. That's the problem when you're in the situation, you often can't see things objectively. I guess it still wasn't clear to me when she was crying and trying to get hold of Dana whether she was into Tane or if she was concerned about his involvement as the father. Another thing I will say is that her abs is not going to be around for much longer. Friday Judging by the preview at the end of the episode, I guess we know how Harper feels towards Tane. Hate to say it but Dana made a lot of sense and I think it's interesting Harper was telling Tane to be honest with Perri in the episode before but she can't be honest with Tane about the baby. I accept it probably wasn't the right time but it looks as though she doesn't want to tell him any time soon. He's not stupid and he's going to start getting suspicious at some point. Well I guess that's it for Felicity. I do think for everybody close to her, this must have been quite a shock. One minute she's hosting Cash and Eden's engagement, she collapses and within a few days, they're being told they will need to turn off the life-support and are asking about organ donation. Bree mentioned she could save seven people so I would have been curious to know which body parts were donated. I did wonder how the cast/production would have reacted immediately after filming the scene where all her loved ones and the hospital staff were surrounding Felicity, just before she was about to be taken off for the organ donation. I did like the fact Tane mentioned the first time he saw Felicity was when she was dancing at the bar she worked at. That's how I would like to remember her, not lifeless on a hospital bed. He said she changed his life for the better. I accept he had to say something positive, but I hope he meant it.

I wasn't sure what Mackenzie's reaction was going to be like. I was half expecting to write a post complaining that she wasn't affected enough but seeing her being distraught over Felicity did provide a sense of satisfaction, in that even though they've had their differences as of late, she did genuinely see her as a close friend. Actually, seeing Mackenzie like that re-enforced my displeasure about the previous episode. I accept actors will leave so they can explore other roles but it is frustrating as they pulled this with Stevie Marlow when they killed her off (another character I really liked) even though she was just a guest. I wasn't sure what to make of Kirby. I know she wasn't as close to Felicity as Eden but I guess everyone has their own way of dealing with it. And she seemed to be OK in the episode focusing on Mali's artwork and trying to raise his spirits. After liking Levi in one episode I found the opposite yesterday. I also wasn't happy about him covering the money that was stolen from the Surf Club and I wasn't entirely happy with John going along with it either. Are we certain Abigail stole the money? There was a text exchange but I don't recall her actually fessing up to it.

Yeah, I wondered last week when you said it looked like Felicity was having an aneurysm whether you already knew what was going to happen. I agree with Red Ranger about Felicity's ending in that it should have been her smiling and riding off into the sunset. I also agree that Tane has pretty much run his course as a character (One of the problems with him is that he's never really had a group of friends, just family - Mali/Mackenzie, it feels as he's paired with them by default), although I am interested to see what happens when he finds out Harper's pregnant. However, I don't think they should have left together. I thought she deserved better than him. I do feel he was in love with her at the beginning but when he effectively ended the marriage after the pregnancy thing, he's not acted like someone who's in love with his wife. It's frustrating because given how Felicity started off, whilst I still thought she clearly had issues (which was one of the reasons she didn't want kids), she did manage to turn her life around and integrated quite well into the community, prepared to get involved in hosting events to raise money for charities, was a good friend to Eden and the other Lyric band members and did support Mackenzie prior to her becoming romantically involved with Levi. John's reaction said it all really. I do also appreciate Bree's role in this. It must have been very difficult for her given she's friends with Lyrik having to be Felicity's doctor and breaking the news to Cash knowing how it would affect everybody else. I also quite liked Levi alongside Bree. Hopefully this will bring him and Eden closer together.

Dana proving what type of person she is. When she went to the hospital, I suspected she didn't give one iota about Felicity or how it affected Cash and Eden. It was all about Tane (not that she even really cares about him either) and how Felicity's condition could potentially affect things with him and Harper. I'm also glad Levi and Eden are getting on a little bit better now. I did think when Felicity's condition worsened Eden was going to blame Levi for not being with Cash by her beside sooner somehow but I'm glad I was wrong. In one hand I do think that Tane did well keeping it together but on the other hand I'm not happy with him. As I said at the time I didn't agree with Felicity being on the pill when Tane believed she was OK with trying for a baby but I didn't like the way he was towards her afterwards and now he's saying he's in love with her. Was he in love with her when he had those one night stands, or when in spite that she tried to help him when he had to go court, he was still dismissive of her or when he impregnated Harper.

Dana's not exactly the sharpest tool in the box, blurting out what happened with Harper and announcing to Rose, Harper was pregnant. It's a shame her drunkenness didn't go on for a little while longer because I loved how Irene was still keeping it real. I have to admit I loved the scene where she was drinking from the flask whist she was in hospital, the relief when she took a gulp and her horror when she saw Bree watching her. I do wonder given how John's looking out for her whether eventually he will see Irene as more than just a friend. Not keen on Abi from first impressions. She comes across as quite spoilt and self-entitled. I did wonder the way she ignored Remi when he said hello to her whether she had some sort of crush on him and it wasn't reciprocated. So they're back on Tane and Felicity. With him this seems to have come out of nowhere because he was so adamant the marriage was over and he didn't really want her in his life any more. With her, I guess you can argue it's a little surprising considering the week before she said she was in love with Rory, but given how she was looking at Tane I guess she's still in love with him. If Felicity hadn't collapsed, I'm sure Tane would have tried to sleep with her again. All he seems to do is use people that are into him and he doesn't come across well at all. One of the frustrating things about Channel 5 is that they change the main picture on the Home and Away sub menu every so often where you can go to view all the available episodes and it will be of a scene with an episode which hasn't aired yet. The last one was where Cash was surrounded by the River Boys after he got out of his truck. The latest one being Felicity in hospital, which was over a week ago, so not great if you don't want to know what is going to happen. When Felicity started feeling funny at the end of the episode I knew that was the moment which was going to cause her to be hospitalised.

Whilst Irene is amusing e.g. "Your lordship" re Justin, it is getting very serious now. Someone really should tell Harper and Dana as they live with her, have a right to know and the outbursts towards them are becoming more frequent. Initially I was keen for Harper to tell Tane about the baby but part of me is hoping she puts it off in order to see his horror when he starts to notice the baby bump.

I don't have one iota of sympathy for Mali. He's entirely the blame for the situation he's in. Like the last time he went to see his family, I'm glad he's gone and again wish that he doesn't return although once more wishful thinking. I enjoyed the dinner party stuff. Again enjoyed the uncomfortable faces or Marilyn/Leah but Justin as well. It's interesting there appears to be a divide. In one hand you have Justin and Marilyn who are reluctant to put too much pressure on Irene and rather just provide support and keep an eye on her. On the other hand you have John and Leah, who believe they should actively intervene and stop Irene from drinking. I did smile when Irene called Harper moody. Shame Marilyn interrupted because I would have loved to see how the interaction continued when Harper didn't take very kindly to it. Not really enjoying the stuff with Tane and Perri. I'm not surprised Perri reacted like that at his party as to me it felt Tane was putting far too much pressure on him for something he has no real connection to.

I mentioned in my last post about Rose expressing concerns Cash was too involved and then getting her to interview Mali, so there was a concern with regards to the professionalism element yesterday. I did think Cash allowing Felicity to speak to Rory also falls within that remit (and Cash's partner and the cop guarding Rory allowing it to happen) but I do agree that Cash did the right thing given Felicity's current state of mind and that she does need some closure. I think the way she's been acting re-enforces the point she's not mature enough to have kids and why she and Tane didn't work out. At the moment I find I'm looking forward to any scenes with Irene. I know this probably won't last for very long but despite the serious nature of the storyline, I'm finding her quite entertaining. Again the expression and look of discomfort on Marilyn and Leah's faces when she's acting out is amusing. When Justin came into the Diner and asked how Irene had been coping, I did wonder whether Leah had already told him about her drinking. It's still wasn't clear to me from her facial expression at the Diner whether he already knew of if Leah told him on the way home. They've both obviously not learnt anything with what happened when they were initially against John being a celebrant for their wedding. Leah getting Justin to do it again. I don't really understand what made her think him talking to her would have made any difference. Nothing against Justin but I did enjoy Irene having a go at him going round with him to his and confronting Leah as well.

Eden's dad wasn't around for very long but given how his presence wound Eden up, he can't be all bad. I did take onboard Xander's point about Dana only getting back with him because of the accident but he was acting like she was prior to that. I think she is genuine but this highlights how immature both of them have been. Starting to get a little frustrated with the Harper/Tane pregnancy thing. She should just tell him and stop delaying it. There will never be a right time to break the news. My thoughts are on Remi/Bree becoming public knowledge and Mackenzie returning are the same...meh. Irene has been quite brilliant. I've really enjoyed the fact that she has no filter and the scenes with Leah and Marilyn, particularly the way the both look at each other when given how she's acting. I even enjoyed the scenes with Harper and Dana when she asked them to drink with her. I don't mind having the odd criminal. I didn't have an issue with the Bronte storyline and thought the Allens were OK but I hate having the River Boys back. I'm of the opinion they should just nuke Mangrove River but given the River Boy's are like cockroaches, they would probably survive it anyway. I do think it was good to see Cash and Rose working together again. There hasn't been too much focus on their friendship as of late and I really like their interactions. Despite the fact I'm not happy about the River Boys storyline I did enjoy seeing Cash and the other cops arrest them. I was a little surprised Rory turned himself in. So I do accept with him and Dingo, loyalty's a big thing. Hopefully the storyline will be wrapped up quickly now. Felicity doesn't seem to be acting very rationally re her blind support for Rory but I do actually think this is plausible given the way the marriage with Tane ended badly for her and she was still in love with him up to a couple of months ago. She did sleep with Marshall but that didn't work out because of Tane, so it's no surprise she's latched onto the first person who isn't off limits to compensate for what has happened before. I will say that I did like her "who are you?" to Eden (Football chant anyone). I'm in agreement with the comments about Mali. Personally I can't stand the guy and would be happy if he left the Bay. When Dingo told the police to question him, I was kind of hoping he would get in trouble somehow. And later on he had the audacity to accuse Rose of thinking he was a murderer simply for doing her job. There was an important point Rose made last week though in that Cash was too involved. I accept Cash has been professional about this but he shouldn't have asked Rose to interview Mali because there is a conflict of interest and there's also an argument as to whether Cash should have interviewed Rory.

Given Xander's a regular surfer, I think his question was perfectly reasonable about where to surf so Dana should have been more professional rather than biting his head off. Like Eden last week, she let her emotions get in the way of her job, although I do accept he might have also been using it as an excuse to talk to her. She was also unprofessional when she went off to support Harper right in the middle of a shift after Harper told her she was pregnant (which I feel was largely driven by Xander annoying her). That's important because when she came out of the Surf Club onto the beach, Theo had already pulled Xander out the water whilst her colleague was just turning up. She was lucky that time but on another day if someone was drowning and nobody was there to save them then it's potentially somebody's life. It seems as though purely because she's butthurt (despite Xander rescuing her), after being adamant she and Xander were finished, she didn't see a future for them, didn't think she could get past this, wasn't sorry and needed to get rid of anything toxic, Dana has now decided that she wants Xander after all. Yay! Hooray for being fickle. I like Bree's role and really like her friendship with Rose. I think Bree is more sympathetic when providing an updates on patients, unlike Dana's mostly robotic approach but the problem with Bree is if there is something wrong you can normally tell by her facial expression, although she did say to Rose she wouldn't hide anything from her. So Harper didn't get round to out telling Tane about the pregnancy. Shame as I'm looking forward to seeing his reaction, although it will be interesting to see Felicity's as well.
