  1. Like...wow.I don't know what's going to happen and I don't even know what I want to happen.Looking forward to the conclusion.
  2. Yeah, my reaction to that one was "Eh?" as well.Is that supposed to be a sort of sibling love or is there something we've all missed? Otherwise, good work.
  3. Ooh...What a cliffhanger!
  4. Oh good grief...He's going to be in it.If I can think of a line to give him, I will.No promises, mind you... Oh, and thanks for reading, like.Everyone.
  5. I'm really enjoying this one.Please continue.
  6. Okay, that bit made me laugh. That's got to be worth at least ten points.
  7. Unless I've forgotten something, fifteen years.Lynne McGranger took over the role in 1993 and Irene had cleaned up her act by then.I don't remember her ever falling off the waggon(which doesn't necessarily mean it didn't happen)-I think she had a bit of a wobble during that business with Dodge, which I think would have been '95, but didn't succumb.
  8. no it is legal because legally he no longer exists. Hmm, much as I would like to believe this, the show opened up a can of worms a few months ago by pretty much having Leah say that the marriage was illegal(or at least sinful).I really don't see how it can be legal for Leah to marry a second husband in full knowledge that her first husband was alive and well. There are plenty of examples in other soaps of a character being declared dead, turning up again and still being legally married to their spouse.Leah was offered a chance to join Vinnie in witness protection and the implication was that she was still his wife.
  9. Yes, Dan and Leah actually split up twice in late 2005/early 2006 for a variety of reasons including him developing a gambling addiction, her developing feelings for Peter and her miscarrying the child they were expecting and didn't really get back together until he was in a car crash and she felt bad.(If you saw the Flynn's funeral episode last week, there was a few hints of it in there, since it was set in between the two separations.) Thankyou muchly! I was litterally dying not knowing the answer. Nice to know I saved someone's life.
  10. Twenty.Plus an epilogue.Which should probably be Chapter Twenty-One but I thought twenty was a nice round number. Mind you, I might as well throw my notes in the bin-once again whenever I add something in like that Aden/Mel scene everyone loves it.I'll try and post at least one chapter over the weekend but it looks like it's going to be a hectic one.
  11. She had some sort of kidney disease and needed a transplant, with Shelley eventually agreeing to be a donor.Oh, and she was pregnant but after Flynn, who'd obviously left his bedside manner at home that day, told her "If you don't have an abortion, you'll die" she ran off into the bush and had a miscarriage.
  12. Call me the lone voice but I have got that feeling of "Does Chase really deserve to lose his girlfriend to Aden..?" Looking forward to what happens next.
  13. I just wanted to say once again thank you to everyone who's commented and I'm glad you all seem to have enjoyed the story.I find it amusing that a lot of the things people liked(the character of the waitress, Kasem, pretty much anything involving Pippa)I came up with pretty late in the day. There's probably a lesson there but I'm not entirely sure what.
  14. "Having a go" might be a bit of an exaggeration but she asked Kelly if she had any advice and as diplomatically as possible she replied "Do you dye your hair?"Actually, come to think of it, it was before she was pregnant, when they were first thinking about it. Oh-and thanks Ryan for answering my question yesterday.
  15. Well, according to my twenty-year-old dictionary, it's "a concluding part of a literary work that rounds off from the main work but it is independent of it."Basically, I wrote a series ending that wrapped everything up, then wrote another story that was supposed to start everything up again but never did anything more with it.
  16. One thing that's been puzzling me for years:When Bobby was pregnant in the early 90s and had a miscarriage, who was the father? It seems a bit late for it to have been Frank.
  17. I think that would be 2622.
  18. Never resolved, never mentioned.Actually I've always assumed that no-one knows about it.Flynn died pretty soon afterwards and was never heard to mention it to anyone(plus he didn't know who Belle was)and she was hardly likely to bring it up. (In her defence, I'd like to point out Belle did go back to check on Flynn when she realised he'd fallen and didn't leave him until she heard Alf coming.)
  19. Short answer? No.It was one of a large number of "McGuffins" that seemed to be going around at the time, like us never finding out what happened to the evidence that would have put Johnny Cooper away a lot earlier.
  20. I'm not entirely sure but he heard Aden arguing with his father before the service and I think the impression was that even if he hadn't heard the full story he'd heard enough to work out the basics.
  21. The one Fin gave birth to was definitely a boy and I'm pretty sure his name was mentioned.I don't remember it myself but I read somewhere that it was Mark.
  22. If you're referring to the engagement ring Ken gave her just before she died which she threw in the sea because she was angry about him spending money on it instead of making the garage safe...then yes she did.Hayley(I think)found it floating in the water near the beach and Irene, who regretted her decision by that point, thought it was Ken somehow giving it back to her. Not sure where the fish comes into it...
  23. The episode that was on Channel 5 today was 4635.
  24. I think that was Episode 4458, when he was giving Geoff a hard time at rugby training.
  25. Just spent the past week or two reading this one and thought I'd say:Anything that has me screaming "What? What?!What?!?!" at my computer screen(at the first mention of aliens)plus Colleen dragged away in handcuffs must be pretty good.
