I think they paid a really outstanding tribute to Clive Hornby. The episode was so very brilliant. Emmerdale is doing well so lately I think.

I wasnt expecting much from this episode but I was completely blown away and I couldnt stop crying all the way through. The voices were very sad with characters remembering back from years ago about what was said.I especially loved the one that had Andy talking about his adoption with Jack and Sarah Sugden. I loved Robert's appearance though so much , and I thought it was very moving when Robert was in the barn smelling the feed because it reminded him of when he used work on the farm. It was so good to see Annie taking head of the family once again by sorting Andy out and dishing out a few home truths. The end was nice with Diane seeing Jack and it said a tribute to Clive Hornby and then the very first Emmerdale theme tune played out RIP Clive Hornby

I only saw Annie's return today and it was realy nice to see her back and talking about the old days. I thoroughly enjoyed the chat between Victoria and Annie talking about the plane crash all those years ago.It was a really nice touch how she mentioned that it was Victoria's birth that woke Annie from her coma Tonights episode will be very very sad. I am really looking forward to Robert's brief apearance although I think Andy is the only one who sees him as Robert doesnt go to the funeral and only goes to the grave when everybody had left
