Yet another cute villain, but one with a vulnerable side. He
stabbed Sally, which if you believe the tabloids ought to be
a hanging offence, but Sally and the viewers ended up
feeling sorry for him, as his torment when doing so was
there for all to see. His brother put him in an impossible
position, and he ended up dead.
23. Scott Phillips - 8 votes
Scott helped his father frame Kane for armed robbery. He
kidnapped Shauna, and was generally a nasty piece of work.
We should have seen more of him.
24. Callan - 6 votes
Callan was an acquaintance from Ric's time on the streets in
the city. His nasty little habit was to slip rohypnol into
girls drinks and to then proceed to rape them. Matilda
nearly got caught out, but Ric saved the day. You would have
thought those Dr Spock eyebrows would have given the game

Ailsa reappeared in 2002/3, having died in the finale of
2000, when Alf had a brain tumour and was seeing things. She
was not very nice when she reappeared and tried to turn poor
Alf against all of his family and friends. Once the tumour
was removed, so was evil Ailsa.

We can not think of any reason why Pippa was cast as a
villain, but someone who voted either objected to the fact
that she had said "no" to one her kids, which all good
parents do from time to time, or they thought they were
being funny.

Tara tried to frame the gorgeous Kim for indecent assault,
but she got caught out and it turned out she just wanted her
Daddy's attention.

Belle can be a bit of a cow at times, but a lot of people
like that about her character. She has attitude, kind of
reminiscent of Bobby and Gypsy. We would hardly call her a
villain though. Unless of course you count the fact that she
was responsible for Flynn falling down the stairs and dying
a few days earlier than he otherwise would have done. Shock
horror, she is murderess.

Another odd vote. Alf calling some teenager a flamin'
mongrel, or interfering in Martha's love life has obviously
upset some members.

Gus framed Kane for armed robbery, he brutally abused his
kids and his wife, he broke Kane's arm and made little Kane
wet himself with fear. Not a nice man at all.

Sally came back from somewhere with Kieran in tow. They were
about to get married. He hit on Gypsy, who bravely stood up
in the middle of the wedding ceremony and told all. Sally
was devastated. Kieran could not see what all the fuss was
about. Gypsy was in his eyes the town bike, fair game and a
bit of fun, he wanted both Sally and a bit on the side. He
was a rat. How dare he hurt poor Sal! Sal told him where to
go, and then developed OCD.

Gypsy had attitude, and could be a monumental cow at times.
but she was soft as **** underneath all of that. She went
off the rails, screwed around with other peoples lives, and
other peoples boyfriends before sailing off to live happily
ever after with Will and their daughter Lilly.

He hasn't done much except take pictures of himself and
Amanda in bed. He shoots his mouth off and poses a bit.
36.Celia Stewart - 3 votes
If I were to use any word to describe Celia, it wouldn't be
villainous, it would be more likely to have dish-watery dull
or annoying. So what were Celia's crimes? Well apart from
the fact that she seems to have more accidents in Africa
than most, it would probably be her constantly interfering
nature that left most at their wits end, especially Morag.

Poor sweet Charity. Her parents did not love her, so she
believed everything Momma Rose fed her hook line and sinker.
She was complicit in the plan to get Tasha pregnant by
Jonah, and then stole baby Ella so that Momma Rose could
fulfill the prophesy, what ever it was. (If someone knows
will they please tell us. Irene talked some sense into her
and the girl came good at the end. She is now in prison
somewhere.

Joey was Saul's son. He left the commune to pursue an
education and a more conventional life. He was a good kid.
However, there was a period when he wanted to harm Irene. It
turned out he was schizophrenic and had been having
delusions that his father was telling him to hurt Irene.
When he wasn't ill and being nasty he was a grade A student
and a bit of a good guy. (Boring in other words!)He left the
bay to tour around giving talks on mental illness and to
further understanding of schizophrenia.

One of the early villains, in 1989. Men of the church are
usually kind people who have nicely maintained gardens or
they are sickos, like child sex addicts or perhaps they beat
their own children and that's exactly what the Right
Reverend John Newton did. However, perhaps the worst thing
he did was giving his children the monikers Aviva and Tamer.
I wonder if they resented him more for knocking them about
or for the names he gave them.

Dani is famous for being the most self centred character
that there has ever been on Home And Away. A princess who
was spoilt rotten by her Dad, Rhys rubber lips Sutherland,
and who saw the entire world and its goings on in terms of
how it affected her. At least that's what some would have
you believe. The fact is, it is not easy to come to terms
with the fact that your sister has married the guy who raped
you. That said, she walked all over every guy that she ever
dated. No wonder posh Josh turned evil.

Blake and Karen Dean were sent to live with Ailsa by their
mother who had spent time inside with her. Whilst Blake
spent the next few years romancing the girls of Summer Bay,
Karen was less successful and ended up crashing into David
Croft's car, killing him and unfortunately freeing up Guy
Pearce to start his dreadful movie career. This meant Karen
was only sent to jail for a couple of years for the most
heinous of crimes.

Gary Samuels looked remarkably similiar to Scott Robinson Mk
I from Neighbours and with good reason. Mistakenly believed
to be Carly's rapist, who was in fact a guy called Shane
Wilson, he did however cause other trouble whilst he was in
Summer Bay before he met a grizzly end over the edge of a
cliff. The sharks and fishes around those cliffs are really
well fed. |
