Martha surprisingly doesn't have the same name as her grandmother or the
American home goddess, and so there was a surpisinging number of votes
for Martha Stewart. Her storylines have been slightly deeper than
Jack's, it does help that she's his other half and so can pick up all
those "aren't they cute?" votes.
7. Kirsty Sutherland/Phillips - 130 points

Played by Christie Hayes
Kirsty, the highest finishing Sutherland and also one half of the iconic
KK pairing. Kirsty managed to fall pregnant three times within one year,
though one of the times she actually wasn't pregnant. As the KK fans
drain away though, so will Kirsty's position slip.
8. Noah Lawson - 129 points

Noah Lawson was killed in 2004, shot dead by crazy Sarah. His continued
appearance up here is probably more to do with his looks. His storylines
were fairly mundane, but they were highlights such as his relationship
with Hayley. There is much regret amongst a group of fans that he never
got together with Kit.
9. Gypsy Nash/Smith - 121 points

Well, I'm probably a bit biased here as I voted Gypsy my favourite
character, but I can't argue with the hoardes. Gypsy was a unique
character, fiery, finding trouble almost everywhere she looked. She was
stalked, she was kidnapped, she was almost burnt alive and she fell
pregnant. However all came good in the end and she married Will and left
to live with her family.
10. Kane Pillips - 119 points

Kane was 2nd last time, but since that contest was held he has left the
show and the cult KK fans have stopped watching. Strangely Kane fell
more than Kirsty, which would seem to imply that Kane only had fans of
the KK following whilst Kirsty had more broad appeal. |
