The first alteration since the beginning of the 1992 season saw two very small changes occur, which may not have been so apparent to the casual viewer. Firstly, Tina Thomsen's name was corrected after previously being credited as Tina Thomson in the first set of titles. Secondly, the previously rather plain purple shape on the filler shot of the kayakers was changed to a more elaborate brush stroke shape. All other shots and shapes remained the same so were presumably still deemed as fit for purpose. This altered set strangely made a one-off appearance in Episode 982, before becoming permanent from Episode 990 onwards.
