After three years of being introduced with a five second bumper, there was not much joy for Home and Away fans when the show returned in 2013. After the usual speculation over the Christmas break that the show could return with a full title sequence, it returned in January with a new five second bumper of a girl holding a suft board running into the sea.
However, to appease fans somewhat, the show has produced a series of these five second bumpers, which are currently running for a week at a time. So far three have been revealed, each at the start of a new week. The fourth week of the 2013 seasonsaw a reappearance of the sufboard-clad girl from week 1, suggesting that these three bumpers will run in a three week rotation.
