Season 20 opened
with a brand new style of credits, accompanied by a new
theme tune, sang by Israel Cannan who played Wazza in the
show. The new credits still incorporate the photo frame
style, however for the first time in the show's history, no
character or actor names are shown on screen.
Strangely Palm Beach does not feature in the credits at all,
all the beach shots are of Dee Why Beach, a location not
commonly seen but near the Beachside Diner. The camera moves around the beach
showing framed pictures of the characters, at one point
looking as though it has been inspired by a certain Kodak
advert. The Home and Away logo has also changed colour, from
blue to orange, being reminiscent of the 1991 credits.
