Since leaving the Home and Away set on the 14th December 2007, Kate has gone on to work in radio. Exactly a month after leaving, she started work on the Nova 96.9 breakfast show with Merrick Watts and Tim Ross aka Merrick and Rosso. But it's not just hosting the show that Kate does...oh no. Merrick and Rosso regularly set Kate tasks and Kate must decide whether she will take on the challenge or not. So far, challenges that Kate has accepted include walking on hot coals and getting her nipple pierced! A far cry from playing Sally, that's for sure!
Nova aside, since leaving Sally behind Kate has been awarded yet more coveted prizes winning the silver Logie for Best Actress for the third year running and Gold Logie for most popular TV personality for the second year running.
She also managed to fit in a week long break with her boyfriend between Home and Away and Nova.
