Sally and Love

Murray "Mullet" Jensen

Mullet really liked Sal, following her home and trying to be friends with her but he only succeeded to get on her nerves. His resiliance in the face of her refusals though made her like him and she was jealous when he spent time with Tammy Newton. Their innocent relationship never really went anywhere but he was probably resonsible for helping Sal realise that guys existed.

Peter Mansell

Sally's first kiss and first date. She liked him, they kissed after a game of spin the bottle, and he agreed to go out with her. They went one one date but when it failed to go well they didn't go on a second one.

Damien Roberts

Her first crush. Shy, older Damien Roberts was the first guy Sally really took a liking too but when she attempted to kiss him, he pushed her away.

Craig

Craig was the local badboy and at a time of turmoil for sally, with dale's death still haunting her, she was desperate to impress him. She joined his gang and underwent an initiation which included having to stand up and sing on a snooker table. Her persistance paid off and they began dating but it wasn't to last long as Sally behaved underhandedly in order to keep Craig and only succeeded in losing him and her then best friend Gloria.

Joe Lynch

Encouraged by Jack that he liked her, Sally asked him to the cinema only for Joe to turn her down flat. He then proceeded to bully her, calling her ugly and a brain before being outed as a bully by Don Fisher.

Gus Bishop

Gus Bishop showed an interest and with her confidence low after Joe's treatment of her Sally refused to see the badness in Gus despite his tendency for stealing and vandalism. She took the blame for him after he smashed Shane's headlight and defended him through multiple wrongdoings. Eventually his behaviour got too bad and with his sister Donna leaving to travel he was forced to leave the Bay. he tried to get Sally to go with him and when she refused he threw a rock through the window at the Caravan Park nearly hurting Pippa.

Nelson MacFarlane

Possibly her first love, certainly the first boyfriend she cared for. They shared a moment on the beach and Sally stuck up for him in public, endearing herself to him. Jack caused a bush fire and Nelson was badly burnt pulling him to safety and struggled to come to terms with his disfigurement. He pushed Sally away before eventually departing the bay for a burns unit in the city.

Jack Wilson

Jack was Sally's foster brother and had been a friend to her during her previous troubled relationships. They were caught kissing by Michael and after a series of rows, were given a caravan to use so they weren't 'carrying on' in front of the younger foster kids. Despite their close relationship Sally began to get sick of Jack's selfishness. The last straw came when he refused to let Brendan, a troubled young man, use their caravan and Jack became the second guy to be dumped by Sally.

Curtis Reed

Whether or not Sally actually liked Curtis was never really established. He was older, good looking and had been out with Shannon, Sally's role model so it was hardly surprising that she made a play for him at a low point in her life, after Michael's death. Unfortunately Curtis failed to notice her attentions and Sally was forced to look elsewhere.

Charlie Wilkinson

Sally didn't particularly like Charlie but he was in her life at a point when she was feeling that no boy was ever interested in her. They shared a kiss but Sally was left feeling worse at having kissed somebody she didn't even like. It sparked a breakdown which led to Shannon and Selina taking her out on a raft to cheer her up. When the raft broke up on the river, the group was seperated. Sally was consequently kidnapped and held hostage, being found seriously ill a week or so later.

Tim O'Connor

Tim has the honour of being Sally's first adult relationship. He was the one she lost her virginity to and possibly the first guy she loved. Their relationship was strong until Tim was accused of being behind a scam to import illegal immigrants and Sally was left devastated at having her trust betrayed.

Scott Irwin

Scott was Sally's bad boy rebellion after Tim broke her heart. She slept with him and was cajoled by him into stealing exam papers but when Aaron realised he had tried to frame Sally for the theft, he extracted revenge on her behalf. Furious Scott attacked Sally in The Surf Club and she had to be rescued by Tim as Scott was run out of town.

Tim O'Connor

Again. After rescuing her from Scott and having his name cleared in the illegal immigrant scam, he and Sally reunited. She had high hopes for their relationship when Pippa moved out of the Caravan Park but Pippa quite rightly believed Sally and Tim weren't serious enough to take on the running of the house. The problem was that Tim became a bit too serious. His jealousy increased as he began grilling both Sally and foster brother Sam about her ex boyfriends. When he saw her hugging close friend Travis he spread rumours that Travis liked young girls and a furious Sal dumped him.

Sean Ellis

Sean was Sally's first attempt at an older man. Much older and with a teenage daughter, not much younger than Sally, their relationship never really got off the ground. No sooner had Sally won Daria round, than Sean had cheated on her with his ex wife Tanya and the relationship was over.

Vincent Patterson

For her next relationship Sally moved closer to home, literally, as she began dating housemate Vinnie. They were polar opposites, fun loving Vinnie always had a scam up his sleeve whereas newly graduated Sal took life seriously and was career minded. Their relationship worked well for a while with her seriousness grounding him and his recklessness bringing out her fun side. Eventually though their differences became too much and after a series of rows, they split.

Kieran Fletcher

The image

Kieran met Sally when they were booked into the same hotel room in Ireland due to their similar surnames. They became close and he returned to Australia with her as her fiancé. Initially charming all her friends and family in the run up to the wedding they made it as far as the aisle before Gypsy stood up and revealed his real nature as a sleaze. Kieran was jilted and after a beating at the hands of her foster brother Steven, he left town.Read more here.

Luke Harvey

Luke was Kieran's best man and best friend who took Sally's side in the aftermath of her failed wedding to Kieran. He supported her as she struggled with her self loathing and OCD and they eventually started a relationship. They quickly became serious and despite Sally's doubts they got engaged. Her ''friend' Harry though, realised that Sally's heart wasn't in it and kissed her to prove a point. Sally didn't respond quite as Harry had hoped but she did come to realise that she didn't want to be with Luke. She called her engagement off and her left town.

Harry Keller / Reynolds

As above. He kissed her to try and force her to admit she didn't love Luke. It worked and she moved on...but not to Harry.

Brett Egan

Fellow school teacher Brett had done his teacher training at Summer Bay High whilst Sally had been a pupil. Now a colleague they became close as she helped him readjust to life in the bay. Donald Fisher was against their relationship from the start and seemingly with good reason as when the pupils found out about their relationship, love hearts sprang up all over the school. A pupil teasing them over the tannoy annoyed Brett to such an extent that he lashed out and Sally promptly finished things and he left town in shame.

Flynn Saunders

Finally after a lot of frogs Sally found true love. See our full relationship summary in Sally and Flynn - A love story here.

Diesel Williams

Diesel threatened to destroy Sally's relationship with Flynn when he became obsessed with her. He planted a kiss on her in view of Dan Baker and set it up to look like they had been having a relationship. Luckily Flynn never doubted Sally and realising that their relationship was in his imagination, he took Sally and Baby Pippa hostage. Sally managed to talk him round and Diesel was shipped off to the overflowing Mental Institution at Reefton Lakes.

Brad Armstrong

Sally and Brad were both on the rebound from the deaths of their loved ones and thought they initially took their time with things their relationship quickly sped towards the aisle. They both had a lot of emotional baggage which got in the way of enabling them to commit in the long term. This was especially true for Sally and she jilted him at the altar. Despite trying to make things up with him they soon realised that they were both seeking something that wasn't really there and loving each other wasn't enough. They split and Brad moved to Tasmania.Read more here.
