Left Summer Bay with his Aunt Morag after Alf found him uncontrollable after Ailsa's death. Duncan intentionally tried to burn all his bridges in the bay as to make the decision for Alf.

Shauna Bradley - Episode 3150
Shauna, who was dating Jude, fell in love with Flynn, who was with Sally. When Sally and Jude discovered this, both severed all ties with Shauna and she left the bay, no longer feeling welcome.
Shauna has returned to the bay for a guest stint since.

Was sent to prison for fraud carried out under his name by his father Ralph Patterson. Was believed to have died in prison during the 2002 season finale.
In 2004, we discovered Vinne was in witness protection, and in 2010, Elijah Johnson told Leah that Vinnie really had died since.

Got back together with Shauna when she returned to the bay in 2002, breaking Charlotte's heart. They left to start a new life in the city after VJ's christening.
Jude has subsequently returned to the bay for a guest stint.
Charlotte Adams - Episode 3357
After deciding to leave for Vietnam, Charlotte went for one last swim in the Bay where she drowned and died in hospital.

After completing her HSE, Brodie decided to travel around the world, following a brief romance with Mav earlier in the year. She decided to go alone, despite Alex's proposal to go with her.

Don decided after caring for Alf, that it was time to hang up his headmasters tie and once Alf was on the mend he left during a surprise ceremony held on his honour. He now lives with June in the Whitsundays.

After several business deals had turned the bay against him, he was caught bribing a local councillor and decided to leave the bay, with his mother.
