Will Josh West ever return again?

Do you plan to ever bring the character of Josh West back to the bay for another visit? I enjoyed his various UK scenes with characters like Scott and Tasha.

Gidday John Barber (That's just to prove I really am an Aussie) As you can see from the answer to Chris J's question *, I'd thought of incorporating Josh in to my spin-off show. I liked the character too. He's always there in the wings to be trotted back out, if my replacement Script Producer Daniel Bennett feels so inclined. Guess that ball's in Dan's court now. And of course dependent on the availability and inclination of the actor. We don't like recasting unless we REALLY have to. That's why at certain festive events, like Noah and Hayley's wedding, you don't see some characters you'd expect to see and we have to make excuses in the script as to why they're not there. We approach the actors but they're not interested in returning. And we don't want to put someone new in to the role. Who are at special events is also dependent on cast budget. I've got that problem coming up with baby Pippa's christening. If we had everyone there who you'd expect to be there from Sally's family, you'd blow about two week's cast budget. It's the sort of area where you have to rely on the good will and understanding of the fans. Trust me - we never disappoint you without there being a very good reason. Any questions any of you have about things like this you may have wondered about - "why did such and such happen?" - feel free to ask. Unless it is indiscrete to answer the question, I'll be more than happy to do so.
