It has recently been reported that Seven's Epping site has been sold for redevelopment and Home and Away production may be on the move. Also, we were led to believe that a replica of Summer Bay House was being built on the studio backlot. Is there any truth to either of these statements, and if so, will a move affect the plan for the replica?
Asked by JeremaiSeven has not sold the Epping studio. "Home and Away" will continue to be made there. The build of a backlot location for the caravan park is not going ahead at this point of time. We are managing to write and produce the show very well without it. This could possibly change in the future, should it be deemed desirable for the health of the show. Personally, I don't think we need it. I in no way felt hampered by not having it as I plotted the show.
