How many days a week do you film this excellent show?
Asked by StephWe film the show five days a week for forty six weeks of the year. There's a four week holiday at Christmas and a two week break for recuperation mid-year. A normal shooting day stretches between 7 am and 6 pm, but can go later if shooting goes over. Studio shooting takes place Monday to Friday, and a separate crew shoots exterior scenes over three days Monday to Wednesday. So each week of episodes is an effective eight day shoot, done by two crews over five days.
