Heath & Bianca Coming Home

Just when you thought the Braxton era was drawing to a close—with Ricky Sharpe and little Casey departing with Brax on Aussie screens this week—it has today been announced that Heath Braxton and Bianca Scott will be returning to Home and Away for a guest stint.

Dan Ewing, who originated the role of Heath back in 2010, made the announcement in this week’s issue of New Idea magazine.

“It’s been in the works a while” he said. “They came to me with a storyline idea and Lisa (Gormley) and I discussed it, and it was a great, fun opportunity. It’s a little crazy, because I’m actually shooting a feature film at the same time, so it’s going to be a lot of exhausting hours but it’s going to be worth it.”

Heath and Bianca were last seen on the show in Episode 6017 in 2014, when Heath and daughter Darcy left to live with Bianca in the city. Since then the couple have returned in the Eye for an Eye spinoff episode made by on-demand service Presto.

Whilst there’s no indication as to when Dan and Lisa commence filming, we can expect their return to air towards the end of the season or early next year.
