We're delighted to announce that 'Home and Away' has won the Television Serial AWGIE for the 5th year running.
The AWGIE's, held this evening in Sydney, are the Australian Writers Guild's much respected accolade for excellence in screen, television, stage and radio writing. This year marked the 42nd annual ceremony.
The winning episode was Episode 4649 which aired in Australia on 29th May 2008, written by Sean Nash. The episode featured the return of Kane Phillips who sneaked into the hospital to see his son Oliver, as well as Jai's deliberate fall off the pier and Ross' uncertainty about his blossoming relationship with Morag.
Many congratulations to Sean and the rest of the writing team!

We're in the process of creating a brand new look Back to the Bay to freshen things up, clear out the clutter and add some features as we go. Apologies for how long it's taking and how much of the site is looking rather peculiar as a result, but rest assured we're making progress and the new look will be complete within the next few weeks.
