Home and Away actress Tessa James (Nicole Franklin) is no longer a student at Methodist Ladies College but she still has a prominent presence at the high school.
Her classmates have cut out clippings of her and have pinned them to a notice board, assembling a mini-shrine. And they have accumulated a considerable collection!
The 17 year-old left school early, but has full intentions of completing year 12.
"I don't miss the homework that much," she laughed.
Living in Sydney at the age of seventeen away from family and friends has been challenging for Tessa.
"I have had to grow up pretty quickly and organise a lot of things for myself, but it has been good for me."
James said a driver took her to work each day but she is planning on getting her own driving license soon.
