Former Home and Away star Jason Smith (Robbie Hunter), is to star in a new fantasy series directed by Spiderman director Sam Raimi. Legend Of The Seeker is currently being filmed in New Zealand, where Jason has already been making his name as Casey, the Red Ranger in Power Rangers: Jungle Fury. The US syndicated miniseries, which is based on The Sword of Truth novels by Terry Goodkind, also stars Craig Horner, Bridget Regan, Bruce Spence and Jay Laga'aia.
It has not been stated whether Jason's character 'Gryff' will be part of a regular cast, or just a guest role.
