Episode Preview: 4701
Seven, 7pm
Despite all the Olympic action, the past few weeks must have seemed an eternity for Summer Bay's armchair residents. Elliot (the always excellent Paul Pantano - drama producers, give this guy more work) has been up to no good and made Roman drink a nasty concoction in order to save Nicole. And it's from here the soapie takes a turn towards high-octane action.
Roman wakes up dangling upside down over a cliff, legs bound. From there he is challenged to escape. He does, slowly dragging himself up, only to be hunted through the forest by an off-the-planet Elliot armed with a bow.
Home And Away has it's ups and downs, but this episode is really a peak for the soapie. Pace and direction are superb, and it's a fair bet that more than a few older brothers will find themselves sucked into the battle as they wander through the family room.
