You must have been living under a pretty sound-proof rock to miss the news that Rebecca Cartright, who plays Hayley Lawson in Home and Away, is 3 months pregnant.
Glynn Hewitt, the father of Bec's fiancé Leighton Hewitt, confirmed the pregnancy to the Herald Sun on Thursday. "We can confirm the news," the newspaper reports him as saying. "We are tremendously excited and happy about it."
The couple announced their engagement on February 1st and were due to get married at the end of the year. However, that date has now been postponed to make way for the baby.
New Idea magazine was planning to "exclusively" reveal the news in the latest edition.
