Home and Away performed well at last night's TV WEEK Logies in
Australia, winning 2 of the 6 Awards it was nominated for.
Chris Hemsworth (Kim Hyde), who was nominated against co-star
Beau Brady (Noah Lawson), won Most Popular New Male Talent.
Meanwhile, Rebecca Cartwright, who shot to stardom as Hayley Lawson,
won a Silver Logie for Most Popular Actress.
Rebecca, who lost out on the Gold Logie award to popular Network
10 presenter Rove McManus, also walked away with Best Dressed of the
Night award, for a dress lovingly described by members of our
Message Board as a
'tablecloth'.
Panic struck near the end of the awards, when
Channel Nine lost its' signal just minutes before the Gold Logie
Award Winner was announced. Fortunately, the signal returned in time
for Rove McManus to be revealed as the winner.
