Five edits Home and Away

One of the many reasons fans have praised five‘ss treatment of Home and Away is because, unlike ITV, they never made any cuts to the show. All that changed last week, as five made a number of cuts to Jade and Duncan’ss ‘sdrug-taking’s scenes.

A scene at the Diner featuring Jade and Duncan taking Laughing Gas or ‘sBulbs’s and then spinning around was cut from Thursday’ss episode. Only the end of the scene – Alf and Seb walking in on them – was shown.

Another set of similar scenes were cut from Friday’ss episode. At the Surf Club, Duncan hands Jade a balloon and tells her to “Have a 99”. Unbeknown to them, Kim watches on as the two begin to appear very giggly and light-headed.
