Welcome to the brand new look Home and Away : Back to the Bay. As you probably already know, we've just finished completing our merger with Home and Away.org to create a bigger and better Home and Away website.

Almost all of Home and Away.org's content can now be found here on Back to the Bay (details of which can be found on the Updates page). The only bits we've yet to transfur to the new site are the Episodes and the Picture Gallery - but they will be done shortly. More brand new content has already been prepaired (and even more is in the pipeline) and that will be making it's way onto the website very shortly.

We hope you like our brand new design. It's made fully in CSS (We don't use any tables - if that means anything to you) and should be fully standards complaint. That also means that we can change any or all of the aspects of the site's design in minutes. As a result, what you're seeing right now may not be the final design. We may make tweaks or small changes over the coming weeks, or give the site a complete new look. It all depends on what you think. So please give us your thoughts on the new design - what you like about it and what you don't - so we can improve it.

Unfortunately, the design may not look exactly like it should on some browsers (Internet Explorer 5 for example). We'll be working to correct those problems over the coming weeks - so if you use a browser in which the site doesn't look quite right, please get in contact and help us out. The site's design has been tested in Internet Explorer 6 and the latest version of Mozilla Firebird and it works fine. Hopefully it will work equally well in most other recent browsers.

We have a brand new Comments system integrated into the News pages. You can leave your thoughts in the stories we report about in this section for others to see! Just click on the title of the article you're reading to enter its dedicated page, and then fill in the details at the bottom of that page. Try it out on this article here, and use it to give us your thoughts on the new site.

Now, before the website went on its hiatus, we received a fair few emails requesting Affiliate and Link Swaps. However, we never got around to replying to a bunch of them. If you own a Home and Away Website and want it listed on our Links page - drop us a line on admin@backtothebay.com and we'll get straight onto it, there'll be no forgetting this time. :)

Apologies for the lateness of the re-launch. Those of you in the know will know that the site was meant to relaunch at 8am GMT this morning. However, due to major Internet Connection problems (well, the snapping of one tiny little copper phone wire preventing me from connecting to the Internet at all), I had to put the launch back by 12 hours. But we're finally here, despite the delays.
