Hidden away on a suburban street in Avalon lies the location used as Leah Patterson's home for the last 8 years.

Though not viewed on screen that frequently, save for some standard stock shots, the location has been seen in some major scenes over the years. It is in fact the second house to be used for this particular location, the first of which was used from 1995 to around the 1999/2000 era.

In 2000 it was seen, in possibly its first major scenes, when Joel and Natalie Nash decided to give their marriage a second try and leave the bay together. Four years later the doorway was the very place where Noah Lawson was shot and killed by Sarah Lewis, after she had run out on to the driveway and pointed her gun at Dani Sutherland.

The house is a couple of minutes from Barrenjoey Road in Avalon, which is the main arterial route up to Palm Beach from Sydney. The left turn onto Woolstonecraft Avenue from Barrenjoey Road, one of 3 entries into this area of Avalon, was seen when Judith was driving Joel to the house in episode #2927 - however they then cut to the top of Edwin Avenue which made the journey considerably shorter than in reality.

It's not the easiest of locations to find as the foliage hides the majority of the house from view, however the blue fencing outside helps to identify the house.

New look!

We're in the process of creating a brand new look Back to the Bay to freshen things up, clear out the clutter and add some features as we go. Apologies for how long it's taking and how much of the site is looking rather peculiar as a result, but rest assured we're making progress and the new look will be complete within the next few weeks.
