  1. Cash to Mackenzie:"Levi must be happy with your progress" - Yeah, I bet he is. I did find Mackenzie's presence during the scenes when Cash and Rose were arguing quite amusing. Well the cracks are reopening in their relationship. I think Mali using Mackenzie's recovery to not spend time with Rose is just an excuse, possibly to punish her for not responding to his text earlier on in the day, but as mentioned there is a wider issue with the lack of communication. Whilst I think it was harsh, I did laugh when Rose told Roo to back off. I believe this is slightly out of character (when she caught Stacey with that guy in the car, whilst she was exclusive with Xander, even though she wasn't happy, she was still calm enough to be professional telling them to move on) and do think Rose will issue an apology when she next sees her. I do understand Roo wanting to find out where the donation came from but watching her pursuit is getting a bit much now. I found Felicity quite annoying how she was re Cash investigating where the Surf Club donation came from. It was her whole attitude and the way she was making fun of him. Dana was also really annoying but that's to be expected with her as far as I'm concerned. Agree with the other comments questioning what Valerie's deal is. She hasn't spent much time with Leah, it's hard to see that they've bonded that much but I am interested to know more.
  2. Mackenzie seriously needs to try to not get so worked up. It's not good for her health. Given how protective he was, I was genuinely surprised with Mali advising her to essentially see how it goes with Levi. He did say he wasn't going to pull an 'I told you so' but I would have expected the advice to be more neutral. I strongly agree re the believability of Levi falling for Mackenzie in the first place. If this was a scenario where he was possibly in his late 40s/early 50s and been married for over 20 years, then maybe it would have been more understandable. He even admitted in the episode that he was happily married. I know it's possible to have a very strong infatuation for an individual even though conventionally they may not be deemed as irresistible, so perhaps it's that. We can see exactly why she would fall for Levi but I am a little disappointed with her sleeping with him knowing that he's married, given what happened with Ari and Mia and they didn't even sleep together before Ari and Mackenzie broke up. I do think Levi's been quite selfish. Even if you take marriage out of the equation and assume he's single, being her Doctor he should have some idea she should be recovering. But he's put that aside to sleep with her. John made me laugh when Roo was questioning the person who gave the $30000 donation to the Surf Club and he told her to put another Ad in. I did think Roo was being ridiculous myself initially but thinking about it, I do actually get her being suspicious given the amount of control Henderson had being a large donor, which landed them in this predicament. Although you'd think if it's anonymous, it doesn't really count, but there is that saying nothing's for free. Tane goes to New Zealand without cancelling his PT sessions with Harper - Again doing something without having the common courtesy to inform the relevant party beforehand. I am always one of the first to assume someone fancies someone else during male/female interactions and I didn't feel this with Harper towards Tane initially but with her latest conversation with Dana, I am now wondering whether she does fancy him.
  3. Well Lyrik is a band not a person so that's not true but yeah, very selective with the spell checking Hlover. I think it's quite funny that Alf is having to go through all this stress re the Surf Club for someone he doesn't even like. Tane was out of line. Felicity was at the point where she had accepted it was time to move on after talking to Harper and he basically used her. Part of me wondered whether it was frustration with him not being able to progress things with Harper. Xander's face when Felicity told him was quite amusing. Looked like doom and gloom and he knew Tane was going to reject her. Mackenzie's bodyguard was on duty again although when she got fed up with him, he seemed to move onto Tane. I'm assuming he still thought Tane and Felicity had a chance given that he advised Tane to sleep on it rather than nipping it in the bud right away with regards to her having false hope. I'm no doctor but I'm a little surprised Mackenzie is back to being at Salt and ready to you-know-what with Levi. It can take weeks, months to recovery from a heart attack, especially if you've had major surgery.
  4. Apology accepted. You may want to think twice about correcting people who don't spell every single word correctly because this isn't the first time this has happened. I don't think Felicity gave good advice to Kirby as it was based solely on her situation and I think Bree's scenario was different. In saying that it was Kirby I was annoyed with and Bree should have been able to tell Remi about her dad being in a coma when she was ready and not have Kirby make that decision, so I was glad Bree said something to her. Kirby also annoyed me when she asked Bree if she stuffed up afterwards, when she knew full well she did. Although it does seemed to have worked out with Bree going to see her father now. Dana continues to be annoying. I have no issue with her winding Harper up when it's just them, but I really don't like the way she makes comments about Harper and Tane getting together when other people are around. She firstly does it right in front of Tane, knowing full well how difficult and awkward the situation was before. Then she does it as Salt when Felicity overheard her mention the kiss when she was serving her and Harper. You do have to wonder when Harper went to speak to Felicity afterwards and said nothing was going to happen with Tane, whether that was a precursor to something happening. I did agree when Harper said to Felicity, when the kiss occurred with Tane didn't really matter and I don't think it does Felicity any good knowing, although I get her wanting to know. Going back to Dana, even after she saw Harper and Felicity have the talk she was quite excited that Felicity didn't kick off and she didn't seem to give one iota of how that made Felicity feel i.e. Felicity's at work, she's trying to be professional and has to overhear that. Even Harper felt bad and this is the thing with Dana, she genuinely seems to lack empathy. I initially thought the scenes with Felicity and Tane felt really awkward. It was bad enough with their conversation at the beginning but even when she saw Tane with Harper after they finished their training sessions, it was hard for me to watch. That's why I found the end of the episode so surprising with them jumping back into bed together.
  5. This is not about Dean, it's about Mali and Mali is an idiot. Giving someone a fried breakfast who was hospitalised twice due to having a heart attack and a tear in the heart, who has only recently come out of hospital and been advised by their doctor to eat healthily is monumentally stupid (saying nobody eats anything that's put in front of them is really a stretch and doesn't come close to refuting that point). And I believe you should be using brekkie, brekky, or breakie. Bree's OCD controlling nature of Remi continues. I have to admit, I did laugh when Eden went to see him and she said Kirby and her needed security clearance to get past Bree. It really does feel like Bree's one of those characters the writers are continually going to make suffer. I think her staying to look after Remi rather than going to see her dad on life support is a way of not wanting to deal with it. So one of Leah's fellow crazies from the loony bin turns up. I wouldn't mind being roomies with her.
  6. Don't know whether it was the lipstick or whether Rose had her teeth whitened. Mali has really been getting on my nerves. Let's put aside despite the fact that Mackenzie was warned to watch her diet, Mali gives her a fried breakfast and it just feels like he's getting involved in things he shouldn't. I don't think it was his place to confront Levi like that. I think it's fine to speak to Mackenzie about it though. I don't like Dana. Whilst I can't deny she's loyal to John I don't find her to be a particularly nice person. That's the second time she's manipulated Banjo. She doesn't really care about him and probably would have had no intention of keeping quiet irrespective of what he told her. I've not been too happy with Marilyn regarding this whole thing with Leah and I don't normally like her interfering but this particular time I do think her speaking to Leah is what Theo needed as he was seriously struggling.
  7. I really wasn't sure what to make of the whole Levi operating on Remi thing. I thought Bree had a point but with no medical knowledge whatsoever, I couldn't tell if Levi hadn't done the procedure whether Remi would be dead. I did agree with Levi that Bree was very emotional. I did have a wry smile when Eden confronted Levi about what he did and said if Remi died she would never speak to him again. As if that's going was going to make any difference prior to that. Although it's good that they've reconciled (for now anyway). Watching Bree over the last couple of episodes, I've always liked her and she's never bothered me before but the constant having go at Levi was starting to get get on my nerves. I must admit I did find it funny when they were arguing and Levi cynically said she should be thanking him. I wasn't surprised about Mackenzie and Levi. I suspected he liked her and it's not that hard to imagine her falling for him given that he saved her life twice, she's not met anybody since Gabe and has really been dating. Whilst I do think it's right Tane and Felicity's marriage is ending, I was a little sad when I saw their scenes. I guess you can argue they're both to blame but Tane never should have married her, given she didn't want children. I found the varied comments in here quite interesting. I've been more pro Felicity, I admit but I've seen pro Tane comments and comments that are pro both of them. I liked them when they were dating but felt it was ruined by the marriage. I think the fact that Tane tried to crack onto Harper shows he's not in a good place. He obviously wasn't thinking right. I did feel a bit sorry for Harper as she hasn't really done anything wrong and now she's lost a friend, her personal trainer and it looks like her gym membership. I did find Dana's reaction quite amusing though, saying if she was in Harper's position, it would have been different. Cash was actually OK when he went to talk to Tane about Harper, given that he's slept with other women whilst still married to his sister. He was fairly sympathetic and understanding. Do you really think Harper fancies Tane? I know I'm the first to always jump to the conclusion but in this particular case I couldn't really tell.
  8. I remember the days when it was WWF. I can't believe this storyline is making me feel sorry for Eden. I do think the funniest part of the episode was when those guys put Remi down and their horror and panic when he started breathing. I do think the younger brother isn't necessarily a bad person as he wanted to do the right thing from the beginning but has made some poor choices since. I'm glad Felicity and Tane are getting on but hope this isn't the start of a reconciliation.
  9. The women he slept with on his nights out. If you disagree though or think I'm wrong, feel free to provide an actual argument rather than asking another rhetorical question.
  10. The difference is, IMO she's been shown to be doing the wrong thing, with Tane being cold and initially refusing to engage with her re the contraception, Cash having a go at her, Mackenzie offering Tane a place to stay, refusing to let her see him/asking her to leave when Felicity went to see her at the hospital, Harper seeming to side with Tane and even agreeing to be friends with him, despite the fact she previously was supporting Felicity for being raped, Xander having a go at her and initially blaming her for Mackenzie's heart attack. Whereas Tane cheats on his wife multiple times, is quite pushy to be friends with Harper despite the current situation with Felicity, pulls out of the lease without giving Felicity or Cash prior warning and it just feels there's been very little comeback. I know Theo said it wasn't about the song but I really wasn't happy Kirby allowed Justin to hijack it and I wasn't keen on Justin either, taking over like that. Cash looked like he was wearing Ugg Boots on the camping trip. I did think the finale was good in the sense that it was a genuine surprise with the guys knocking over Remi and deciding to dispose of his body, with nothing to indicate that it was Remi in the preview. I've been fairly critical of Eden but I can't imagine the horror she must have faced seeing one of the guys dig a hole, being knocked out, gagged, put in the back of the van, only to see Remi and realise they were digging a hole for him.
  11. I'm pretty much done with Eden. I just find her exhausting. She's acted like a spoilt child who hasn't gotten her own way regarding the whole business with Levi. It's very telling that literally every person who's been involved in her venting about him, is prepared to give Levi the benefit of the doubt. I really didn't like how when Cash initially rejected the idea of going away with her because of Felicity, she went to see Felicity at Salt, complained about Cash and pretended it wasn't about Felicity because she knew Felicity would assume it was about her. I was actually hoping we wouldn't see Eden for a while but in literally the same episode they show her and Cash away together. And from the preview, there's more to come. I think Tane has been a pretty crap husband as of late but one of the problems I felt about him was that he didn't have enough friends so it was good to see him at Salt with Xander, Mali, Rose and Bree.
  12. Irene was annoying when Levi spoke to Remi and she asked if they knew each other obviously wanting to know what went on between them. So nosey. When Tane was doing the boxing classes with Harper and they were looking at each other and Cash asked Felicity if something was going on, I did wonder if he was actually referring to Tane and Harper as opposed to Felicity and Harper. I started off being fairly disappointed with Cash. I felt he didn't have Felicity's back as much as he should. He seems to think the marriage is over so it's acceptable for Tane to move onto other women. Whilst I want the marriage to end, I would like to see a little more loyalty from him. Even with Harper, he seemed to default to siding with her rather than his own sister. However, after seeing how Eden was with him when he was trying to look out for her and thinking about the situation with Felicity, I started to feel more sympathetic and felt he was in a scenario where he couldn't really win. Initially raised an eyebrow in the preview when I saw Felicity apologise to Harper and Harper didn't think it was genuine but I'm glad there has been some progress. I'm pleased Felicity and Mackenzie spoke and cleared things up. I also didn't like how Tane was sitting their watching them. Again when I saw the preview I thought Xander was going to undermine another medical person but this time I didn't think he was too bad actually and did end up thinking Levi was quite harsh with him when Mackenzie was hospitalised again. I'm assuming Mackenzie's going to pull through. I found it funny when Alf said to Marilyn he wouldn't stand for a bloke putting another bloke down to make himself feel better. So I guess when Alf puts John down, he just does it for the sake of it.
  13. I strongly agree that this is partly on Rose. Had Leah been charged, they would have been forced to get her help (Although I do think the advice Rose gave Justin to not go after Leah was sound). Regardless, Leah's insanity continues. I actually really enjoyed her in the episode and thought the acting was top notch. I loved the way the camera zoomed into her face during various scenes, the background music and sounds they played and how they adjusted the tone of the voices of some of the other characters when her paranoia kicked in. "He's working with Vita Nova". Theo's reaction to this, particularly in the police station was priceless. Part of me has a sense of satisfaction from seeing Alf having to manage things and constantly get involved in the Surf Club since John's resignation. Alf hasn't been anywhere near as unlikable as he was prior to that. The only thing is, presumably when John decides reclaim his job, he's going to be so smug about it. Looking at how well John had everything in order, it just highlights a problem with a lot of roles people have that when you only have one person that does certain things, should anything happen to them, it becomes extremely problematic.
  14. Roo's reaction of disbelief when Justin hung up on her was hilarious. Leah is insane. Sick to my back teeth of her taking everything out on Justin. She needs help. I didn't like how Tane was with Harper at all. It's concerning that he seems far too keen for a friendship. It makes me wonder if he's looking at her romantically. Irene and Marilyn were both seriously getting on my nerves the way they kept looking over at them and started gossiping. I'm surprised Harper was not going to be put of initially having a friendship with Tane or that after she thought they should keep their distance and having spoken to him since, she's prepared have a friendship, considering the support she provided to Felicity regarding the rape.
  15. I've mentioned how I feel Dana comes across as a nurse. I'm not expecting her to be like Faith from Casualty but to me she lacks compassion. Just watching her interact with Banjo today reaffirms why I'm not keen on her. During their whole interaction, she just seemed disingenuous and insincere. She doesn't seem all that nice even when she's trying to be. Was extremely displeased with Tane ending the lease on his house without even having the common courtesy to tell Felicity and Cash beforehand. I wasn't happy Felicity has decided to fight for him because I actually don't think he's worth it, although she's so in love with him, it looks as though she's not going to throw in the towel just yet.
