If she was to suddenly show up, there could be a deep family secret as to why she's hasn't been on the scene for the last 30+ years... Even we don't get to see Debra (though it'd be a great opportunity to cast a well-known actress), that branch of the Stewart family is essentially a blank canvas, so the producers could introduce any number of cousins for Roo/nieces and nephews for Alf along with their offspring Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Anyway, I'd like to see a well known actress play her, like Glenda Linscott, Elspeth Ballantyne, Louise Siversen, Val Lehman, Anne Phelan, Colette Mann, Amanda Muggleton (She could have spen' the las' thir'y years in England) or Maggie Millar (she could be a female Alf and I can imagine her saying "Oh, shut up, you stupid old b!tch!" to Colleen).
