Episode 105

Early the next morning (Monday), Alexis helps Stacey disguise herself.
Alexis: Now that you’re in disguise, you have to develop a British accent.
Stacey: How come?
Alexis: I’m going to make out that Candice Williams is my cousin from Manchester, England.
Stacey: I have a bad feeling this won’t work.
Alexis: Stacey, you have to trust me.
Stacey: Of course I trust you. I’m just not good with accents.
Alexis: I’ll help you practice.
*After an hour, Stacey has finally mastered the British accent*
Alexis: How’s that?
Stacey: I’m going to nail it. None of your friends would recognise me.
Alexis: I knew that wig would come in handy one day.
Stacey: Where’d you get it from anyway?
Alexis: I got it for last Halloween. I was a wicked witch. *checks her phone* Oh, it’s nearly 7:30. We have to go to the bus stop.
Stacey: Why so early?
Alexis: Sumara gets the 8:15 bus. We have to get the 7:50 bus.
Stacey: I’m not used to this.
Alexis: Well, start getting used to it. Say, what time did you get to Wyong High?
Stacey: I don’t go to Wyong High. I go to Gorokan High. Mum was going to enrol me at Wyong High though, but she got told that there was no place for me. I laughed because I didn’t want to go there anyway.
*Alexis laughs*
Alexis: Let’s get to the bus stop.
*As Alexis and Stacey go to leave, Claire stops them.*
Claire: Where are you going?
Alexis: Mum, it’s bloody Monday.
Claire: Oh, that’s right. School. Have a great day.
*Alexis and Stacey leave*
Stacey: I’m surprised she didn’t ask about the disguise.
Alexis: She doesn’t have to know.
*Stacey and Alexis see the bus coming and race over to the bus stop*
Stacey: STOP!
*The bus pulls over and both girls get on*
Alexis: Thanks driver. *shows the bus driver her school card*
Stacey: *in a British accent* I forgot mine, sir. I’ll pay full fare.
Bus driver: $3.30.
Stacey: Is that in pounds or dollars?
*Alexis tries very hard not to laugh*
Bus driver: Dollars, Miss.
*Stacey hands him the correct change*
Stacey: Have a great day.
*Stacey sits next to Alexis*
Stacey: *in her normal voice* How did I go?
Alexis: Nailed it!
*Stacey and Alexis crack up laughing*

At the TAFE City Campus, Alison arrives to class five minutes early.
Lolly: Hi Alison. You’re here early.
Alison: None of my friends are here at the moment, so I thought I would wait for them in class.
Lolly: You wouldn’t believe who I ran into on the weekend.
Alison: Who?
Lolly: Nour.
Alison: Oh. *pulls a disgusted face*
Lolly: She didn’t see me, though. I was coming out of Coles and I happened to see her with some man. I think it was her husband.
Alison: Probably. I’m just glad she quit TAFE. I was sick of her racist remarks.
*Sylvia and Melissa walk in*
Melissa: Who are we talking about?
Alison: Lolly happened to see Nour on the weekend.
Sylvia: I’m glad Pamela Maddigan got rid of her. I hope she never comes back.
Melissa: She irritated me with her racism.
Alison: At least our class is much more peaceful now.
*Vicki walks in*
Vicki: Hi Sylvia. Hi Melissa.
Sylvia/Melissa: Hey Vicki.
Alison: Uh, Vicki?
*Vicki deliberately ignores Alison*
Alison: I see. You’re going to give me the silent treatment. Grow up!
Vicki: *scoffs* Whatever.
Melissa: What’s going on with you two?
Vicki: Don’t ask me. Ask Ali.
Alison: Well…
*Before Alison can reply, Rachael walks in*
Rachael: Hey girls.
*an awkward silence shows between the girls*
Rachael: What’s going on?
Vicki: Oh, nothing. Just over people stabbing me in the back.
*Alison looks frustrated*
Rachael: Well, you can sit with me.
Vicki: You don’t mind?
Rachael: Of course not.
*Vicki smirks at Alison*
Alison: Talk about immature.
Vicki: Shut up, Ali!
Alison: Why don’t you shut up, Vicki?
Melissa: All right, that’s enough!
*Vicki and Alison glare at each other*
(Meanwhile, Dina is waiting for a train to take her to her pregnancy specialist in Penrith.)
Train V/O: The next train to arrive on Platform 18 goes to Penrith. First stop, Redfern. Then, Strathfield, Lidcombe, Parramatta, Blacktown and then all stations to Penrith.
*the train makes its way to the platform*
*Dina waits for the passengers to get off before sitting next to a pregnant lady on the side seat*
Lady: Hi.
Dina: Hello.
Lady: How many months are you now?
Dina: I’m due next month.
Lady: I’m due in November. Is this your first?
Dina: Yes it is. Yours?
Lady: This is my third. I have two daughters aged 5 and 2. This new bundle of joy is going to be a boy.
Dina: Awesome.
*When the train arrives at Blacktown, the lady gets off*
Lady: Well, this is my stop. It was great talking to you, um…
Dina: Dina. My name is Dina.
Lady: I’m Lisa. See you around I guess.
Dina: Bye.
*The lady gets off the train*
Dina: *to herself* Hope it goes well with the specialist.

At Civic High, Alexis is introducing “Candice“ to Sumara and Hayley.
Alexis: Girls, I’d like you to meet my cousin from Manchester, Candice Williams.
Stacey: *in a British accent* Hello, it’s a pleasure to meet you both.
Sumara: Alexis never told me that you were her cousin. *gives Alexis a suspicious look*
Stacey: What’s there to talk about? We only discovered each other a few months ago.
Hayley: Really? That is so interesting.
Alexis: Candice is a real soccer fan, aren’t you?
Stacey: I sure am, my dear cousin.
Sumara: Are you enjoying it here at Civic High?
Stacey: Everyone has been simply marvellous!
Alexis: Cousin, we have to get your timetable.
Stacey: Oh, that we do. Excuse us.
*Alexis and “Candice” leave and go into the girls bathroom*
Stacey: *in her normal voice* That was so close!
Alexis: They didn’t even know it was you, Stacey. You’ve nailed it.
Stacey: I hope this works for good.
(Meanwhile, Sumara has her suspicions about “Candice”.)
Sumara: I swear to God that I’ve met her some place before.
Hayley: What makes you say that, Sumara?
Sumara: I can tell when Alexis is cooking up a new scheme. I’ve been her best friend for years. If this is one of her schemes, she’s certainly pulled it off.
*Alison walks over to them*
Alison: Hey girls.
Sumara: Oh, hey Ali. What are you doing here?
*Alison gives Sumara a kiss on the cheek before doing the same to Hayley*
Alison: I finished TAFE early so I thought I would come and find out when this bake sale is going to be held.
Sumara: It’s going to be held this Thursday at 12pm.
Alison: Thanks.
Hayley: So, how are things with you and Vicki?
Alison: She’s still not talking to me.
Sumara: I’m sorry to hear that. *looks sympathetic*
Alison: It’s cool. Say, I hear Alexis’s cousin started school here.
Sumara: I don’t think Candice is even her cousin.
Alison: What are you saying?
Sumara: I know Alexis too well and I am determined to get to the bottom of it.
*Sumara looks determined*

Episode 106

That afternoon, Riggot is waiting for the bus when he sees Angelica Mafi.
Angelica: Hi. Is Alexis here?
Riggot: Yeah, she’s on her way out. Hey, you’re Angelica!
Angelica: I’m glad you remember my name. I have forgotten yours.
Riggot: Riggot.
Angelica: Oh that’s right. You’re Alexis’s boyfriend.
*Riggot smiles*
Angelica: How could I have forgotten? Never mind. I just thought I’d come here since I finished school early and I’m not due at work today.
Riggot: Oh, that’s okay.
*Alexis and "Candice" come outside the gate*
Alexis: Angelica, how are you?
Angelica: Not bad, Alexis.
*they kiss each other on the cheek*
Alexis: I haven’t seen you for weeks.
Angelica: I’ve been really busy with school and work.
Alexis: Ah.
Stacey: *in a British accent* Um, cousin Alexis? Who is this girl?
Alexis: Angelica, I’d like you to meet my cousin Candice Williams. She’s visiting from Manchester.
Angelica: Hi Candice. It’s nice to meet you. *smiles*
Stacey: Likewise my darling.
*Riggot tries hard not to laugh*
Alexis: I’ve been having a few issues myself. I’ll tell you all about it when we get back to my house.
*Sumara approaches them*
Sumara: Hey girls. *to Angelica* Haven’t seen you in a while.
Angelica: Same here.
*Sumara and Angelica kiss each other on the cheek*
Alexis: Did you want to come over to mine for a while, bestie?
Sumara: I’m afraid not. Mum and I are going to see a family friend in hospital.
Angelica: What happened?
Sumara: She broke her ankle.
Stacey: Ouch. That would’ve killed.
Alexis: We better be off. Bye.
Stacey: Bye my new friends.
Sumara: *flatly* Bye.
*Alexis, "Candice" and Angelica head to the bus stop*
Sumara: That is NOT her cousin!
Riggot: I wasn’t the only one thinking that too?
Sumara: Something isn’t right.
Riggot: Pretty suspicious if you ask me.
Sumara: We’ll uncover the truth.
Riggot: How?
Sumara: Mrs Thorpe herself.
*Riggot and Sumara high five*
(At Alison’s house, she is on the phone to Vicki.)
Alison: Please come over. I want to sort things out with you! Oh, fine be like that! *slams the phone down*
Amy: Vicki won’t budge?
Alison: I cannot believe that she’s being so stubborn!
Amy: I can. She’s being a child.
Alison: Amy, don’t you think you’re being a bit harsh?
Amy: No. Putting Vicki and Tevita on probation was a point that you had reached the end of your limit with their arguing. If Vicki’s going to carry on like an immature teenager, then tough!
Alison: I take it you’re getting frustrated with her as well.
Amy: You should’ve heard her today in the cafeteria. “Oh, Alison hates me.”, “Oh, Alison cost me my friends.”. Like, grow up woman!
Alison: Definitely.
Amy: I think she’s putting her focus on Cameron too much.
Alison: I’m afraid so. *looks doubtful*
Amy: Well, it’s none of our business. She wanted to be a mother, so let her enjoy motherhood.
Alison: I just don’t think Tevita was ready to become a dad yet. I think that’s where the problem lies.
Amy: You know what, Alison? I think so too.
Alison: I just wish Vicki would talk to us again.
*Amy puts her arm around Alison*

Meanwhile, Mareta is walking home from school when Carina approaches her.
Carina: Mareta, I need to talk to you.
Mareta: Oh Carina. I really need a friend right now.
Carina: *harshly* We’re not friends anymore!
*Mareta looks sad*
Mareta: Why?
Carina: Because of what you did to Donna.
Mareta: I didn’t mean it.
Carina: Bull! If you were her best friend, you wouldn’t have done it! I have lost all respect for you!
Mareta: But…
Carina: Goodbye Mareta! Have a nice life! *storms off*
*Mareta looks miserable*
(When she returns home, Mareta is in tears.)
Riggot: Sis?
Mareta: Everyone hates me. I just wish I didn’t betray Donna like that. I was forced by Natalie and Ella to do so.
Riggot: I know. Come here.
*Riggot hugs his older sister*

Episode 107

The next morning (Tuesday), Alison sees Vicki outside the TAFE City Campus building.
Alison: Can we talk?
Vicki: *in an annoyed tone* What about?
Alison: Our problems.
Vicki: Forget it, Ali. I’m done trying to please you and your friends.
*Vicki goes to walk off, but Alison grabs her wrist*
Vicki: Would you let go of me?!
Alison: Not until we sort things out.
Vicki: There is NOTHING to sort out, now just go away!
*Melissa and Sylvia walk over*
Melissa: Ladies, what’s going on?
Vicki: Ask Ali! She’s the one pestering me! *storms off*
Sylvia: What a brat!
*Vicki hears that*
Vicki: I beg your pardon?! *storms over to Sylvia*
Sylvia: You heard me! You are behaving like an immature, selfish brat!
Vicki: Mind your business, Sylvia. If I were you, I’d keep my mouth shut!
Sylvia: Resorting to verbal threats now, are we?!
Vicki: She’s the one that put me and Tevita on probation! *points an accused finger at Alison*
Alison: The only reason I did that was because you and Tevita drove us crazy with your arguments!
*Vicki just storms off in a huff*
Melissa: You okay, Ali?
Alison: I’ll be fine. I just wish Vicki and I would talk already.
Sylvia: If she wants to be a super bitch let her go! She’s the one that will lose friends, not you.
*Alison looks guilty*
(Meanwhile, Natalie has returned to school since coming out of hospital. Alexis is far from impressed to see her.)
Alexis: Well, well. If it isn’t the Queen of Bitches herself!
Natalie: You just keep right away me, slag!
Alexis: Oh, I’m sorry. I take it your head is still spinning after it hit the ground.
Natalie: *sarcastically* Very funny!
Alexis: Just remember this, Natalie. I’m watching you. If any of my friends are given a hard time by you or that mop you call a best friend, I’ll see to it that you are both removed from this school PERMANENTLY!
Natalie: You don’t scare me!
Alexis: Well, I’m not scared of you either bitch!
*Alexis and Natalie stare each other down as the bell rings*
Natalie: You’ll keep. *walks off*
Alexis: Try not to trip over! *laughs*

During Period 4, Mareta is in the library reading when Libby Bushe approaches her.
Libby: Hey Mareta.
Mareta: Oh, hey Libby. How are you?
Libby: I’m doing great. How are you feeling after all the Natalie/Donna drama?
Mareta: I’ve lost my best friend and most of my friends now hate me.
Libby: I don’t think they hate you. They’re just disappointed at you for believing Natalie and Ella.
*Mareta starts to cry*
Libby: Come here.
*Mareta hugs Libby*
Mareta: It just hurts to know that Donna left Civic High because of me.
Libby: I know. Just remember this, I’ll always be here for you. I’ll still be your friend.
Mareta: *sniffing* Thanks Libby. I needed to hear that.
Libby: Anything for a friend. *smiles*
*Mareta manages to smile back*
(Meanwhile at TAFE, Vicki is entering the lunch room when she starts to feel light-headed.)
Vicki: Ali, I need to talk to you.
Alison: Vicki, are you all right?
Vicki: I think so. I’m just feeling light-headed.
Alison: I think you should sit down.
*Vicki sits down*
Vicki: Um, about my behaviour…
*Sylvia and Melissa look shocked*
Sylvia: Vicki, your speech is starting to slur.
Vicki: About my…
*Suddenly, Vicki collapses on the ground*
Melissa: Oh my god.
*Alison races over to Vicki*
Alison: Vicki? Vicki?
*Vicki remains unresponsive*

Episode 108

When she finishes TAFE that afternoon, Alison decides to go over to Vicki’s house and see if she‘s okay after fainting at lunch.
*Alison knocks on the door*
Vicki: *from inside* It’s open.
*Alison enters the house*
Alison: Hi.
Vicki: Oh hey Ali. Didn’t expect you to show up here.
Alison: I just wanted to see if you were okay after fainting in the cafeteria.
Vicki: I’m fine. Just a bit woozy, but fine.
Alison: I’m glad to hear it. *smiles*
Vicki: Hey, listen. I’m sorry for being a bitch. I’m stressing out about a lot of things at the moment.
Alison: Just so I’m correct. You’re stressing out about Cameron and your arguments with Tevita aren’t helping matters.
Vicki: You took the words right out of my mouth, Ali.
Alison: I was correct.
Vicki: You sure were.
Alison: Does this mean that we’re friends again?
Vicki: Of course.
*they hug*
(At Leon’s house, Lowana is cleaning in the living room when Hayley walks in.)
Lowana: Don’t you know how to knock?
Hayley: I did. You obviously didn’t hear me with that radio blaring.
*Lowana turns the radio volume down*
Lowana: How was school?
Hayley: Boring as usual.
Lowana: Well, that’s school for you. Say, I’m glad you’re here. I need to ask you something.
Hayley: What’s that?
Lowana: I want you to find some dirt on Natalie Evans.
Hayley: I already know that she’s a bitch.
Lowana: No, I mean find out what she gets up to outside school.
Hayley: Oh, okay.
Lowana: I regret ever being friends with that mole! So, will you do this favour for me?
Hayley: If it’s getting back at Natalie Evans, then yes. She deserves it after bullying my friends, especially Donna Maynard.
*Lowana smiles*
Lowana: Thanks. I really appreciate it.
*Hayley smiles back*
Hayley: You’re welcome.

At Civic High, Leon, Riggot and Seru are heading towards the bus shelter when they see a group of youths surround Cameron.
Leon: OI!
Punk: Oh, what do you want?!
Seru: Leave our friend alone, you putrid dogs!
Female punk: *sarcastically* Oh my, what language!
Riggot: *to Cameron: Did they do anything to you?
*Cameron shakes his head*
Riggot: Clear off!
Punk: And what are you going to do about it?!
Alexis: KICK YOU RIGHT WHERE IT HURTS, MISTER!
*The group jump up in fright when they see Alexis, Sumara and “Candice” approach them*
Sumara: You people are disgusting! How dare you pick on a deaf person!
Stacey: *in a British accent* You are pieces of vomit!
Female punk: Let’s get out of here!
*the group walks away*
Riggot: You okay man?
*Cameron nods his head*
Leon: We’ll take you home, Cameron.
Alexis: Good thinking, Batman.
Stacey: Come on.
*Leon, Seru, Alexis and “Candice” leave with Cameron as Sumara and Riggot stay behind*
Sumara: I’m really starting to get suspicious about Candice.
Riggot: Yeah, me too.
Sumara: This morning, she had five toilet breaks. FIVE toilet breaks. That is not normal.
Riggot: And I can’t help but wonder if those glasses she wears are similar to the ones Alexis’s mother used to wear.
Sumara: Claire DID have a similar pair. And you know what else is weird? Candice never does P.E.
Riggot: She seems well fit.
Sumara: I reckon Candice is a fraud.
Riggot: And I think that hair is nothing but a wig.
Sumara: It’s about time we investigate.
Riggot: Same here.
*they high-five*
(Meanwhile, Alison returns home to find Amy on the phone.)
Amy: Yes, I will tell her. Okay, Mr Patterson. Bye. *hangs up the phone*
Alison: Was that Dad?
Amy: Yes, it was. He just wanted me to tell you that your Mum is in labour.
*Alison looks shocked*
Alison: Is she having the baby?
Amy: Yes. He wants you to go to Summer Bay tonight.
Alison: I suppose I better pack. Oh, but how am I going to get there? I have no car anymore and the last train comes at 5:45.
Amy: Borrow my car. I’m not going anywhere tomorrow.
Alison: Are you sure?
Amy: Of course.
Alison: Thanks Amy. I really appreciate it. *smiles* Oh, I can’t wait to meet my new sibling.
*Amy and Alison hug*

Episode 109

At around 6 o’clock that night, Alison arrives in Summer Bay.
Male newsreader: *on radio* Police are searching for an arsonist who torched a house in Mangrove River overnight. The home on Willandra Place was completely destroyed. Luckily, no one was home at the time.
Alison: Willandra Place, Mangrove River? That’s where Vinnie lives!
*Alison speeds her way to the family home and realises that no one is home*
Alison: Oh, that’s right! They’re at the hospital!
*Alison drives to the Northern Districts Hospital and races inside*
Receptionist: May I help you?
Alison: I’m looking for Helen Patterson.
Receptionist: Are you a friend or relative?
Alison: I’m her daughter.
Receptionist: Head to the maternity ward.
*Alison heads to the maternity ward to find Mav and Kim sitting in the waiting area*
Alison: Hi guys.
Mav: Hey big sis. *hugs Alison*
Kim: Dad’s with Mum and the midwife. She’s is heaps of pain.
Alison: Childbirth is painful.
Kim: How do you know? You never had children.
Alison: I know that, smartypants.
Mav: What’s taking them so long?
Alison: It must be all that pushing.
Kim: Pushing?
Alison: That’s what women do if they are having a natural childbirth.
Mav: Mum wanted to have a caesarean, but Dad talked her out of it.
Alison: I don’t blame him. I wouldn’t want to be left scarred from a caesarean.
Kim: You get a scar?
Alison: Yes, Kim.
*An hour later, Mr Patterson approaches the children*
Mr Patterson: Your mother just had the baby.
Alison: Boy or girl?
Mr Patterson: A girl.
Mav: I can’t wait to meet my new little sister.
*They enter the room Mrs Patterson is in*
Mrs Patterson: Kids, isn’t she adorable?
Alison: She is just precious, Mum.
Kim: Can I hold her?
Mrs Patterson: You can all hold her.
Mav: What’s her name going to be?
Mr Patterson: Your mother and I have decided to name her Skye.
Alison: Skye?
Mrs Patterson: That’s right.
Alison: I think that’s a cute name, don’t you agree? *looks at Mav and Kim*
Mav: It’s cute.
Kim: I agree.
Alison: *to a nurse* Can you take a photo of us please?
Nurse: Sure.
*The Patterson’s pose for the camera*
Nurse: Okay. Smile.
*The nurse clicks the camera*
(At Vicki’s house, she is washing the dishes when she hears the door knock.)
Vicki: *to herself* Who could that be?
*Vicki opens the door to find Lowana standing there*
Vicki: Hello, Lowana. How great to see you.
Lowana: I just wanted to tell you what happened this afternoon.
Vicki: Oh about Cameron almost being robbed? Ali told me once I woke up from my nap.
Lowana: Yes.
Vicki: I am absolutely appalled that those dropkicks would nearly attack and rob a disabled person. Cameron wouldn’t hurt a fly!
Lowana: I know.
Vicki: I must say I’m very thankful to Leon and his group of friends for saving him. I might come over and see him right now.
Lowana: He’s not home. Him and Hayley went to the movies.
Vicki: Oh well. I can thank him tomorrow. Who else saved Cameron? I might as well thank them too.
Lowana: Riggot, Seru, Sumara, Alexis and her cousin Candice.
Vicki: I see. Well, I’ll be popping around the school tomorrow to thank them personally.
Lowana: I just wanted to inform you.
Vicki: Thanks, Low. I really appreciate it.
Lowana: I suppose I better head back home.
Vicki: Well, have a great night. We have to catch up for coffee over the weekend.
Lowana: Done deal. I’ll see you on Sunday.
*Vicki and Lowana hug*
Vicki: Drive safely.
Lowana: Will do. *heads to her car and begins to drive away*
*Vicki sighs happily*
(At Melissa’s house, her and the Caliente twins are in the living room watching TV.)
Dina: I can’t believe my little baby in a month.
Nina: Thought of any names yet?
Dina: A few. I like the name Antonio. If I have a boy, I’m going to name him that.
Melissa: And if it’s a girl?
Dina: I’ve got so many names to choose from.
Melissa: Have you thought about which hospital you’re going to?
Dina: Actually, I’ve decided to have the baby right here.
Nina: Dina, you can’t be serious?!
Dina: What’s wrong with a home birth?
Nina: I just don’t feel comfortable having my twin sister give birth at home. Plus, you’d have to pay for a midwife.
Dina: I already got that covered. *smiles*
Melissa: Are you sure you know what you are doing?
Dina: Of course I am, Melissa. I’m giving birth to this baby remember?
Melissa: I’m not passing judgement. Just making sure you know what you are doing.
Dina: Okay. Anyway, I might go to bed. Good night. *heads upstairs*
Melissa: Good night.
Nina: Night sis.
*Nina then looks at Melissa with a concerned expression*
Nina: Can you believe that?
Melissa: Most pregnant women go to a hospital to have their babies, but I don’t think we can convince Dina to change her mind about the home birth.
Nina: I’m strongly against it!
Melissa: Well Nina, it’s her decision.
Nina: I just hope she’s not risking her health. You know that some babies die as a result of home birth.
Melissa: I know. *looks concerned*
Nina: Should we warn her?
Melissa: We should, but will she listen to us?
Nina: Knowing Dina, she won’t. It’s worth a try though.

The next morning (Wednesday), Vicki makes a stop at Civic High before she heads to TAFE.
Cameron: *holds up a flashcard* Am I in trouble?
Vicki: No, of course not sweetie. Why don’t you go and have some breakfast at the canteen. I have to do something first.
*Cameron walks off as Vicki tries looking for Leon*
Alexis: Hello, Vicki. What brings you here?
*Vicki turns around to see Alexis and “Candice” walking over*
Vicki: Alexis, you’re one of the people I’m looking for.
Alexis: Oh, I’m not in trouble?
Vicki: No. In fact, I should thank you. Where’s Leon?
Stacey: *in a British accent* He should be in the playground somewhere.
Vicki: I need to find Riggot, Seru, Sumara and your cousin.
Stacey: I’m Alexis’s cousin, Miss. Candice Williams.
Vicki: Nice to meet you, sweetie. I’m Vicki Adams. *giggles*
*At that moment, Leon happens to be walking past*
Vicki: Leon?
Leon: Oh, hey Vic.
Vicki: I just want to say thank you for saving Cameron yesterday. You’re a true friend.
Leon: Thanks. I’m quite known for saving people. *laughs*
Alexis: He saved Dina Caliente from being kidnapped four months ago.
Vicki: Cool!
Leon: Where’s Cameron now?
Vicki: He’s having his breakfast in the canteen.
Leon: Okay. I just wanted to see him.
Vicki: I better head to TAFE or I’ll be late. Thank Riggot, Sumara and Seru for me.
Leon: I will.
*Vicki leaves*
Stacey: I’m just going to the bathroom, cousin.
Alexis: Okay.
*Stacey walks off*
Leon: Hey Lexi?
Alexis: Yes?
Leon: Sumara and Riggz are really acting strange towards Candice.
Alexis: What do you mean?
Leon: I’ve been noticing that they’ve been…tense with her.
Alexis: You know I have been noticing some hostility from my bestie whenever Candice is around.
Leon: Well, Sumara seems to think that Candice isn’t really your cousin.
*Alexis pretends she’s outraged*
Alexis: WHAT?!
Leon: That’s right.
Alexis: Well, they’re getting a bloody telling off from me! Thanks for telling me, Leon. You’re a true friend. *smiles*
*Leon smiles back*
(Back in Summer Bay, Alison is holding Skye as her mother is sleeping.)
Alison: Aren’t you a precious little cutie?
*Skye coos*
Alison: I’m sure Mum and Dad can’t wait to bring you home.
*Mr Patterson walks in*
Mr Patterson: How long will you be staying, sweetheart?
Alison: I’m going to leave on Friday afternoon.
Mr Patterson: I just don’t want you to miss out on TAFE.
Alison: I told my teacher that I’d do the work during my stay.
Mr Patterson: Are you enjoying TAFE?
Alison: Yes. I’ve actually been studying really hard. Say, where are Mav and Kim?
Mr Patterson: They went to the vending machine to get a snack.
*Mav and Kim return*
Kim: Here’s some Twisties for you. *gives a packet of Twisties to Alison*
Alison: Thanks Kimmy.
Kim: Your welcome. *smiles*
Mav: When is Mum coming home?
Mr Patterson: Tomorrow morning, mate.
Mav: Cool. I’m sure Alison will help Mum out.
Alison: Of course I will. Say Dad, is Vinnie okay?
Mr Patterson: He’s fine. Why?
Alison: I was listening to the news on the way here last night and it said something about a house fire in the street Vinnie and Uncle Ralph live on.
Mr Patterson: It wasn’t their house. It was across the street from them.
Alison: Thank god. Vinnie’s my favourite cousin.
Kim: He’s so up himself!
Mav: For a 10 year-old boy, yes he is.
*Alison laughs*
Mrs Patterson: Alison, may I have Skye for a few minutes please?
Alison: Sure. *hands Skye over to Mrs Patterson*
*Mrs Patterson coos over Skye*
Mr Patterson: I’m going to take the kids home, Helen.
Mrs Patterson: Okay darling.
*they kiss*
Alison: I can’t wait to return to my old home.
Mav: And we can’t wait to spend time with our big sister.
Kim: Yeah.
Alison: I’ve missed you guys so much.
Kim: We did too.
*Alison, Kim and Mav smile at each other*

During lunch break, Sumara and Riggot decide to confront Alexis about “Candice“.
Sumara: Alexis, we need to talk.
Alexis: Ah, it’s about time you guys came to me! I think you both owe me an explanation!
Riggot: What?
Alexis: You heard!
Sumara: No, if there is anyone that owes anyone an explanation it’s YOU!
Alexis: ME?!
Sumara: Riggot and I believe that “Candice” isn’t your cousin.
Alexis: *lying* She is!
Riggot: I hope you’re not lying to us.
Alexis: I’m not lying! Candice is my cousin and no matter how much you two say that she isn’t my cousin, SHE IS!
Sumara: Whatever you say, bestie.
Alexis: You know, I thought I could trust you two. My best friend and my boyfriend. Well, I guess I was wrong!
*Alexis storms off in a huff*
Riggot: I feel bad now.
Sumara: Why? She knows that she’s going to get caught lying soon. I know my best friend too well.
Riggot: Okay.
Sumara: We’ll get to the bottom of it. I know we will.
*Sumara and Riggot high-five*
