Ok well after much discussion on the current episodes in Ireland thread I have decided to go ahead and create this thread for all of the U.K to discuss storylines currently screening. The aim of this thread is to have no spoilers unless they are clearly in spoiler tags and nothing is said about them underneath. It is clearly aimed to discuss and analyze the episodes that have already been aired, and references towards future storylines need to be covered as well. This is just so that everyone can enjjoy the thread without having dangers of being spoilered.

Anyways: This weeks episodes have been fantastic. The stuff with project 56 is really getting going now and I loved the whole scenes where the details were faxed to Morag and the rivalry that is beginning to pick up between Josh and Amanda. However, by far I consider the best episode of the week to be Thursdays and Fridays. Some really strong comical episodes mixed with light humor.

I am loving Lynne Mcgrangers acting at the moment, she is superb as Irene and I really felt for her when we saw that it was Corey poisoning her and she got dragged off to the mental instiution. Added to this the greta combination of Flynn and Sally at the race car track, and the hilarious day at the resort with Robbie and Kim and i think that this week has been a really strong week within the show.

What has everyone else thought of this week? What are your favourite characters at the moment? Use theis thread to discuss and get some conversation going!

Liam :)

I really love the current UK episodes at the moment. The Josh Project 56 stuff is really getting started now, and it is obviously going to be a big storyline!

However, after all the other major storylines that there have been lately - specifically Zoe/Eve and Sarah - i am beginning to relate more to the smaller, heartwarming stuff.

Flynn's storyline has been going really well, and the performances by Kate, Joel, Sharni and Mark have been amazing. I loved the stuff at the racetrack, and just little things, like when Flynn said "I threw up on my son yesterday", that was really sweet calling Ric his son. Also, when Sally finally broke down in front of Colleen, i was very impressed.

Lynne is doing superbly (sp?) at the moment, although i saw through Corey at the start. Ella is doing really well as Hayley (although i'm still a big fan of Bec), and the fantastic acting has often made cry, because it's just so believable.

Kim and Robbie's nudie camp experience was great comic relief, and it is good to see that they have continuity with Kim being upset about him and Hayley. If he had come back from the city and forgiven her/forgotten about it, i'd have been mad!

I still hate Amanda, and have not really been very impressed by her, and i think Josh is a little one-dimensional at times. Looking forward to seeing how the storylines progress though.

Thanks for creating the thread Liam!

Thanks Liam....you saved me a job....:D

I have loved this last few weeks in the UK. Joel and Kate are amazing in dealing with Flynn's impending death...we all know its going to happen but they are doing it in such a positive and loving way that it's almost uplifiting. Colleen showing how much of a caring person she is...as well as a gossip...is good..its nice to be reminded of this as we don't see it often...I think the last time was Kane had cancer, and she was there for him too. This storyline has been Kate's crowning moment. She has been absolutely fantastic throughout it.

Corey is so cute and yet so creepy. I agree Lynne has been superb in this...her perfoamnce has been amazing......when she was taken away on friday I wanted to hit Corey...she was so hurt and what happens on monday is even more powerful...

Ella has made Hayley believable, and for me likeable, for the first time in ages. I honestly think that if Bec had had to do many of the scenes we have seen lately, particularly the ones with Irene, they would not have been as good, and to be brutally frank I think we might have been cringing....Ella has brought so much more depth to the part...I think she is a really good actress.

I have mixed feelings about the project 56 storyline, as I think we get too much Amanda, and I find her and Josh a bit one dimensional... but the really good thing about it is MORAG! Anything which means we get to see more of Morag has got to be a good thing...... and whatever stroryline she is in she is always good viewing.

Chloe's death, the aftermath, Kim's Mum, and Corey were really the start for me really enjoying things again in a big way.

Even Kim and Robbie were good...I like how they ae breaking up some of the serious storylines with light hearted ones.

No problem for creating the thread. Was just trying to find a way to make it accessible to everyone thats why it took so long.

Anyways I have only seen bits of Fridays episode as i have it on tape ready to watch fully, and know the general storyline of what happens but can someone give me a breif synopsis of what happened!

I also have to add that i have been very impressed with Sharni Vinsons Acting lately and feel she sometimes gets a raw deal in concern to how her character is intepreted and reacted to.

I agree, i like Cassie and i don't always see why people dislike her so much. She just seems to be a normal teenager.

Friday's episode:Irene got carted away, Luc and Mattie found out about Flynn. Leah/Dan/Colleen were told by Flynn that he didn't want to be treated weirdly. I think Barry/Hayley etc found out about him as well. Not really sure though. I could be talking about a completely different day! Also Amanda saw Hayley and Scott kiss, she freaked out.

mod addition: Dan's coming soon entry on the main site also has run down of all the action..its still there if you want to take a look ...

Had a look and finally caught the episode. I was so glad when Amanda finally saw Scott and Hayley get their act together. Surely now it can only be a matter of time before paternity gate is finally revealed.

As for Irene i really felt for her when she was in the bathroom. Also liked the continuity with Hayley telling her how the roles had reversed. Am looking forward to tonights episode immensly as things are great at the moment!

Smart move by Irene in Today's UK episode - getting that key! Unfortunate that she was caught though. Her performance has been so impressive. Corey is completely evil, and the dog thing showed that 'mongrel that needs to be put down'. Jack's getting closer to the truth though, Corey knows too much.

I like the continuity factor of Kim still being upset with Hayley and the performances between Scott and Amanda were so raw today. Bad news, the dog incident didn't make me like Amanda anymore, but, good news, it did make me like Ryan more, "mum, Mum, MUUUUMM!!".

I loved the interactions between Irene and Hayley, when she said she couldn't trust her, and she wasn't her friend. Corey is such a big creep "you're only getting what you deserve".

Amanda and the dog was an unusual touch for Home and Away...especially when Corey shot it...he is showing his true colours now and his complete lack of sanity is becoming more and more evident....Jack is cottoning on fast....maybe he is not so daft after all....LOL...

I found the scene where Irene was held down and forcibly injected really powerful...you could feel the sense of hopelessness.....for some reason that scene really affected me...and it did the last time I saw it too...I think that it the mark of good drama when something has an impact on you like that ....

The interaction beteen Hayley and Irene clearly indicated how alone and abandoned Irene was feeling by what had happened to her...I still want to hit Corey...being cute is no excuse for being a creepy slimeball....

Oh come on, don't go too far. Jack only realized when he was pretty much whacked over the head with the insanity. If he was a good cop he would have noticed sooner that Corey was just a tad bit psycho.
