A race against time begins as Alf heads the search party for the missing, and Roman works on a plan to stop Elliot.
Extended Summary
Stuck on the trip wire that Elliot set up to kill him, Roman is desperately trying to figure out a way to escape. Elliot is hurrying back to his truck when he hears an explosion – and assumes Roman is dead. But as Elliot prepares to leave, Roman catches up with him, blood-stained and wild-eyed – he has somehow managed to escape the trip wire. Desperate to find Nicole, Roman takes control and forces Elliot to the Police Station. He’s anxious to find out what has happened to his daughter, but Elliot won’t divulge any information to Charlie. Hoping to persuade Elliot to reveal the details about what he did to Nicole, Roman tells Elliot the whole truth about his brother and how he died. His plan works – and Roman sets off to find his daughter.
Alf has started organising a search party but it’s nearly dark and a storm is fast approaching. Alf breaks the news to Roman that they won’t be able to start the search until the morning as the storm would be dangerous to any rescue crews. Roman and Irene are incredulous by this decision. How long will Geoff and Nicole be able to survive?
Meanwhile, Geoff and Nicole are struggling being stranded on the deserted island, however, the experience seems to be bringing them closer together. Despite the fact that they can’t light a fire have to eat raw shellfish for dinner and Nicole is becoming increasingly ill, the situation allows them to open up about their feeling for one another. After admitting how much they like one another, they find themselves in a very passionate embrace and we are left to wonder how far they will go…
