An unknown man, Clyde, sits outside Amanda’s house in a car, flicking through photos of her. He has binoculars and a camera. A blonde woman, Kelli, walks to the car and climbs in. She’s paying him to do a job for her – what’s going on here? Inside the house, Peter and Amanda enjoy each other’s company – but Amanda is still concerned about Belle and what she’ll think of them being together. Peter is optimistic – he thinks everything’s going to work out just fine… Meanwhile, Clyde makes his way towards the house. Inside, Amanda hears a noise – Peter thinks she’s being crazy and moves out to see it’s just a cat. He teases her about it – yet Clyde is out the back deactivating the security alarm. Peter and Amanda decide to head out for dinner. Clyde quickly appears at the back door. He smashes a window and hurries into the lounge room, to a chest of drawers and begins to search. He finds what he’s looking for, then makes a call.

At the Beach House, Belle opens the door to Drew – the last person she wants to see. He wants to know if Lucas got away okay and wonders how he’d feel if he knew Belle was just with him because she thinks it’s the ‘right’ thing to do. Belle lets him have it – this is none of his business – but he disagrees – he knows Belle still has feelings for him. Belle sends him off and Irene overhears. Belle admits that Drew isn’t giving up and she has to stay away from him while Lucas is away. Irene points out that if her feelings for Drew are so strong, perhaps she shouldn’t resist. Lucas would be devastated to know Belle was only staying with him out of duty. Belle is determined – she won’t let Drew break her and Lucas up.

Colleen is getting excited about the Hawaiian party tonight – everyone’s going – Drew turns up, down about Belle’s lack of dealing with their situation. Lost in his thoughts, Matilda and Ric wonder what’s wrong with him? Ric moves off to help Alf set up for the party, as Matilda tries to probe Drew for details about what’s on his mind. She convinces him to come to the party, to take his mind off things. At the Surf Club, Ric sees Belle and asks if she’s coming tonight – she’s not in the mood. He clocks it, but she doesn’t open up and tells him to leave her alone. What’s up with her?

Peter and Amanda are at the Diner having dinner, when Amanda has a run in with Belle. Amanda lets her know that if anything is wrong she can come to her for advice. Belle tells her to stick it, Peter stands up to her – to which Belle lets him know that hooking up with Amanda is his funeral, then storms off… Feeling low after Belle’s attack, Peter tries to buoy her spirits. Nearby, Irene offers some advice, letting her know that Belle has a bit on her mind at the moment – it’s probably not personal to Amanda. She wants to know what’s wrong – but Irene keeps it to herself. Amanda and Peter arrive home from dinner and are shocked to see that the window has been smashed.

The Surf Club looks fantastic, decked out in all things Hawaiian. Ric greets Matilda as Colleen tries her hardest to set Betty Aslop up with Alf, who’s behind the bar. He’s not the least bit amused. Belle turns up, still in a foul mood, but manages to apologise to Ric for snapping at him earlier, as Drew walks in. Alf needs a hand and grabs Ric and Drew, Belle avoids his glances as Matilda remarks what a great night it’s going to be… Uh huh. Belle hangs out with Ric and Matilda at the party most of the night – but is subtly stealing glances across at Drew, who is chatting to a cute girl, Lisa. She’s laughing away at Drew and it’s making Belle incredibly green. Meanwhile, Alf is still trying to ward off Colleen from match making him with Betty – she isn’t taking the hint.

Belle orders an OJ and is approached by a good looking guy, Theo. He tries to chat her up, but Belle quickly lets him know she’s taken and moves off, practically bumping in to Drew. She tries to avoid him, but he lets her know that if she’s going to stay with Lucas, then she can’t get jealous if he’s going to see other girls. Belle decides to head off and Drew follows her – she tells him she can’t believe he had to be all over that girl in front of him! Drew lets her know that no one comes close to Belle, she’s the one he really wants. All she has to do is call Lucas and tell him it’s over. Theo then turns up and in the mood she’s in, Belle just wants to disappear, so she accepts when Theo asks if she wants a ride home. Drew tries to stop her, but she jumps in the car and they drive off. In the car, Belle gives directions, but Theo doesn’t follow and clicks the central locking. The blood drains from Belle’s face. She tries to grab the steering wheel – but Theo makes it clear she needs to do as she’s told or she’ll regret it. He takes her to a hideout, Belle struggles to get free, but then Clyde appears and locks Belle away! Kelli emerges from the shadows – a satisfied smile on her face. It’s all done…

Meanwhile Peter calls the police re the break-in, when Amanda discovers that her share portfolio is missing. Then another call comes through – it’s Clyde, and he tells Amanda that if she wants to see Belle again, she has to do everything he says… Amanda reels with fear – someone’s kidnapped her daughter! Amidst the shock of the situation, there’s a knock at the door – it’s Kelli – Amanda’s sister!
