Money comes between Adam and Marilyn. Kim resorts to crime to support her drug habit.
Extended Summary
Matt arrives to the Diner a bit late and explains that he is late since Kim was gone last night and they all have been worried about her. Bobby and Ailsa talk to Matt about it.
Grant is about to leave for school. Kim says she will be home and sleep.
When he have left she uses the phone. She phones the guy she took drugs with last night. She owes him money. She says she will get him the money.
Adam talks to Maz. She will put the money she inherited in a bank. He thinks she shall spend the money instead. Maz won’t do that. Maz wants to have a party for the lady that died (the one she got the money from).
Kim looks around Grant & Matt’s flat. She found some money in a glass in the bedroom.
Kim asks Matt if he can lend her some money. She asks for 40 bucks. She says it is for Grant for a picnic lunch. She promises she will pay him back. Matt won’t lend her the money. Bobby and Ailsa ask why. He can’t say why but he says that they shall not ever lend her money.
Adam & Maz talks about the money. She had decided to buy him a present. He is curious. She looks through a car catalogue. He thinks she will buy him a car!
Alf talks to Maz about the money she inherited. He congratulates her. They talk about it. Alf think she should be careful with her money. Maz said the present for Adam is a microwave for both of them.
Adam talks to Matt about the present. He is convinced he will get a sports car!
And Adam wants Maz to invest rest of money in some sort of business.
Adam talks to Maz on the beach. Maz talks about the party she will organise. Adam wants Maz to buy a charter boat. She is shocked.
Kim meets Carly in Alf’s store. When Alf and Carly aren’t looking, Kim steals Carly’s purse with money that is lying on Alf’s counter! Carly notices it is gone after a while. She is shocked and puzzled.
Kim has bought some picnic stuff for her and Grant. Matt sees it and asks how she found the money after all.
Kim lies and says that she managed to get it in the city bank from her own money.
Grant & Kim are out on the beach for the picnic. They talk a lot. She asks him if he still would be there for her if something really terrible happened. He gets worried if it is something she wants to tell him. She doesn’t own up about the drugs anyway. Kim phones the drug dealer and will pay him and meet him to buy more drugs.
Carly tells Bobby and Ailsa that she lost her purse. They tell Maz about it. Maz tell them about Adam wanting her to buy a charter boat. She will tell Adam that she won’t buy it. Maz will buy microwave for her and Adam but. It will be delivered to them in the middle of the party she will have.
Bobby tell Ailsa that Adam are thinking he will get a sports car and in will be shocked when the present is only a microwave! Bobby & Ailsa want to see it and they will be at the party.
Maz have bought Adam a chocolate cake. Adam notices that Maz won’t buy the yacht. Adam gets upset.
Maz don’t think it is any good to invest in a car. They argue about it. Maz don’t like it since this money she got have only caused trouble so far. Adam is angry and says that she can stick her present and party as well when she practically accused him of only being together with her for money.
Carly tells Matt that she lost her purse with her wallet. She noticed it was gone in Alf’s store. She also says that she has spoken to Kim. Matt suspects that Kim stole the purse.
Matt gives Kim an ultimatum – to give the purse back or he will tell Grant about the drugs.
She is very worried and gives the purse back to Matt. She has taken some money out of it.
He say he will replace it with his own money and tell Carly that he just found the purse. He won’t dob Kim in this time. Matt say that he do it for Grant’s sake only. If Matt notice it happens again he will tell Grant. (Tense music)
