Alf reads Sally’s new article about him in the newspaper. Alf likes the new one since it makes him look a lot better than the last article she wrote!

Pippa talks to him in his store about it. Michael comes into the store as well. Pippa talks to him. They talk about Haydn. Michael found out from Pippa that Haydn got the role as Romeo. Michael is happy. Michael think Haydn haven’t told him since that would mean he is sort of admitting he starts to like Summer Bay.

Karen will be the leader of the students that will work for the environment. She was voted for that position. They will have a meeting at Alf’s house. Haydn voted for her but he doesn’t want to be in the meeting anyway.

Haydn comes down to the boatshed and talks to Michael. Michael say that he heard that Haydn got a lead role in the school play. Haydn says it wasn’t much competition. Haydn think it will be excellent to stand on stage and kiss Sophie since he know that Blake will hate it and Haydn would love to see Blake in misery!

Steven and Matt talks about Kim. They suspect strongly that she is in Yabbie Creek to get more drugs.

Grant notice that practically no one of the guys don’t seem to like Kim. He asks Bobby what is wrong with Kim. Bobby think it might be because of the fact that Grant is her brother and that he is a teacher etc.

Karen comes down to the boatshed and talks to Haydn. She wants Haydn to come to the meeting since it is important for the environment. There will be beach cleaning on Saturday and a lot of people in Australia will be doing their bit. Haydn doesn’t seem interested in that at all.

Michael think it is a great idea and will offer the one who collects most rubbish a free couple of hours on a surf ski. Haydn won’t be in the meeting anyway. Karen is upset.

Grant talks to Steven and Matt about why they don’t want to hang around Kim. He say that he wouldn’t mind if they were “hanging around” her.

Grant wants Steven to come over to dinner with Kim, Matt and him tonight. Steven says ok but Grant notice that he doesn’t really want to. Grant thinks it is strange.

The environment meeting starts at Alf’s house. Karen organises it and they talk about how they will collect the rubbish and they also say that Michael organised a reward (a couple of hours on a surf ski) and there will be free hamburgers. A lot of the students are interested. Karen talks Alf into supplying the bags to collect the rubbish in.

Haydn turns up at the meeting after all. Karen is happy.

Steven is over at Grant and Matt’s place for dinner with them Kim. Kim isn’t home yet.

The environment meeting is over for today. Karen thanks Haydn for coming. Haydn thinks it is good that they are caring about the environment. Haydn say that he can’t understand how a nice girl like Karen ended up with a brother like Blake. Blake hears it and is annoyed at Haydn as usual.

Matt, Steven and Grant are about to eat dinner without Kim. Grant won’t eat; he will go to Yabbie Creek to see if he can find Kim. Matt and Steven feel bad for Grant’s sake about his little sister taking drugs.

Grant is in Yabbie Creek and drives around and is looking for Kim. He doesn’t find her.

At morning, Grant talked to the police to see if there have been any accidents reported since he is worried about Kim. There haven’t been any accidents reported so Grant feel a bit more relieved.

Matt thinks that he should check around the hospitals to see if she is there. Matt couldn’t say anything to Grant about the drugs but.

Matt talks to Steven on beach. He thinks they should tell Grant about the drugs. Steven thinks it will break him up. Matt thinks it is important that they tell him in case she really is in hospital for an overdose or something like that.

Karen and Sophie are in Alf’s store and talks about Haydn turning up to the meeting. Karen admits to Sophie that she likes Haydn. Sophie reckons Haydn is interested in Karen as well. Karen feels a bit embarrassed.

Kim comes home to Grant and Matt’s place. She got a ride from a friend. She thanks the friend for a good night. Grant sees her and drags her home. He is very angry with her for not telling him where she was.

Kim and Grant argue about it. Kim feeds him lies and a good sob story. Matt overhears it and hates what she is doing to Grant. Kim pretend to be upset and Grant feels sorry for her.

When Kim are alone in living room, Matt talks to her. Matt knows that she lied to Grant. Kim acts arrogant and say that he will never know for sure if she was telling the truth or not.
