She finds Roo and accuses her of taking the notes from the bin and planting them at her desk because she’s jealous of her and Frank. Roo swears she didn’t but Bobby won’t hear of it. Carly is witness to it all. LAter she goes to Donald and tells him it was actually her who took the notes from the bin. She needed to cheat to have a chance. The paper must have slipped out of her pocket when she was leaving class. When Donald is told the truth he hates to have been proved wrong. Carly gets the 0% now and Bobby’s paper will be marked properly. Carly goes home and tells Bobby, getting a black eye for her troubles.

Narelle gets dressed up and cooks a candlelit dinner for herself and Philip but Philip says he’s already made plans. Stacey is stunned when Philip comes to her office that night with a candlelit dinner. If Stacey won’t go out to dinner, why doesn’t he bring dinner to her? Stacey discusses the possibility of him setting up a practise in the new development. When they’ve finished eating, she tells him she knows he is planning to be an orthopaedic surgeon and would never be a GP, she just enjoyed watching him flounder.

Roo is surprised to find Brett at the hospital. He tells her the nurse won’t let him see Martha without her permission. Roo agrees and Brett is clearly besotted with his daughter. Bobby arrives and apologises to Roo for thinking she set her up. She says Martha is beautiful and asks to touch her but Roo won’t let her. Brett is disgusted at how heartless Roo is and says there’s no way he’s going to let her bring Martha up to be like her, he’s going to do everything he can to take her off her.
