Extended Summary
Everyone thinks it is very selfish of Carly to be ashamed of Tom working as a roadworker.
Nico lets Lynn sleep in his farmhouse.
Nico shows Lynn his best friend, a cow he calls Jessie. Then Nico’s grandmother rings a bell from the house near the farmhouse. Nico tells Lynn he has to go to his grandmother every time she rings the bell. Lynn doesn’t like this and asks him to explain to his grandmother to call him by his name instead of using a bell.
Lance and Martin gives Nico a hard time in Ailsa’s store. They tease him because he’s retarded.
Alf is out on the farm to ask Nico’s grandmother if she has seen Lynn but she can only speak Greek so Alf can’t get her to understand.
Lynn wants Nico to stop taking pills which he takes every time he gets upset to calm him down. He is afraid his grandmother won’t let him stop using them.
