A couple of months after her death, Ailsa was seen by Shauna in the diner.
Ailsa reappeared as a vision of Alf's in the diner kitchen in the Season Finale of 2002, whereupon they spent a month alone, well actually Alf spent it alone, but I'll refer to him as them to stop it getting confusing. At the start of the new season Alf started to trying to convince that Ailsa was actually alive and well.
