Played Floss McPhee
Sheila Kennelly has never found herself short of work. She said,
Being an character actress, I've had a lot of luck in the roles I've played.
She trained at the Independent Theatre when she left school, eventually giving up her office job in advertising to join the Elizabeth Theatre Trust. She worked in music halls sporadically for four years while doing various TV series. Her first long-running role was in Number 96 as Norma Whittaker. She spent 4½ years with the show, following it with four seasons of Kingswood Country, then a sustaining role in Secret Valley. She has done numerous stage plays, TV series and films. |
