Sharyn Hodgson began a drama course with Phillip Street Drama School while in Year 10. She spent four years studying there every Saturday morning which led to work with the Film and Television School appearing in films for students.
After completing her HSC, she worked in a retail store for a couple of months before auditioning for Home and Away.
After leaving Home and Away Sharyn had a few minor TV roles as Kerry for one episode in Police Rescue in 1995. Then in Wildside as Jo Mitchell for one episode in 1998. Her longest role since Home and way was from 1997 - 1999 when she played Jodie Turner in Big Sky. She also appeared briefly in Blue Heelers.
Since 1999 she has preferred to stay relatively out of the limelight, concentrating on her more favoured role of motherhood. She has however returned to the bay on several special occasions. The most recent of these was 2002 when she returned to attend Summer Bay's disastrous centenary celebrations. |
