John Adam had settled into the Summer Bay way of life quicker than most because, if you had never noticed, this was his second visit to Home and Away.
"I played Dave Porter, Ben Lucini's best mate. But he was a totally different character to Luke - a real beer swilling chauvinist."
Like his character Luke, John has also been travelling. When he was 17, he hitchhiked around Europe by himself! "I've also been to China and Russia, and I lived in America for three years."Home and Away was John's first TV acting job. "I've been in every Aussie soap apart from Neighbours. I was in A Country Practice and E Street, in fact, I've only been out of work for four months since I finished college."
Two other members of the Home and Away cast went to that very same college. "I was in the same year as Ross Newton, while Bruce Roberts was in the year below me!"
"We spent three years together, and boy I could tell some stories! But I think we got to know each other too well, and since then we've all agreed to a pact of secrecy!" |
