Played Shannon Reed
Isla was born on 3 February, 1976, in Muscat-O-Man in Saudi Arabia, though her parents are both Scottish. She later moved to Sydney so she could star in Home and Away.
Isla started her career doing TV commercials before getting the lead in a children's series called Bay City. At the age of 17, she appeared in Paradise Beach as Robyn before getting the part of Shannon Reed in September 1994.
Her first job was as a lottery ad extra. She was so excited before filming that she hyperventilated for four hours and nearly fainted!
She was involved with Oz model, Nathan Harvey, which broke down in 1995 due to pressures of work.
She loves the rain, Thai food and stars.
