Played Steven Matheson
Adam Charles Willits ("why did my parents call me Adam? I dunno. It was just a good name. And Charles was my grandfather") was nine years when he got himself an agent and began performing in amateur musical societies.
He was born on 18 February 1972 in Sydney's North Shore, where he grew up.
His first TV appearance was a Colgate ad and also did one for Kraft singles.
When he reached the age of twelve, he had appeared in the feature film Marbles for the Australian Film and Television School and the play All My for the Ensemble Theatre.
Adam has since appeared in the feature films Anna, Damsels Be Damned, Weekend of the Lonesome Rustler and Mad Max III. He has also appeared in the TV movie The Perfectionist and was the co-lead with Justine Clarke (Roo) in Maestro's Company.
When Steven left for a new life at university, Adam decided to move on too. During his time away from Summer Bay, he starred in Hampton House, a short-lived sitcom as well as the Home and Away musical which toured around Britain.
Since leaving Home and Away Adam has only had two other TV roles. In 1991 he appeared as Richard in the ill fated Aus sitcom Hampton court which ran for 13 episodes. His most recent appearance was in All Saints as Ivan Quinn for one episode in 2002.
He has, like Sharyn, continued to return to the bay on every special occasion for guest stints in 1997, 1998, 2000, 2002 and 2003.
He now works in finance but claims to be "proud of the show" and keeps up with what has been going on.
